Obviously the Vidiians caught Tom and he had to escape again. And there were episodes of TNG where they thought they'd fixed the holodeck but it either malfunctioned again or they hadn't done it right the first time.
In the future, we'll have video games that can actually kill you... Who wouldn't want that?
That would be great, considering the Iron Maiden song "Fear Of The Dark" being used in the episode.
a "resonance imager"? I don't know. It sounds like a bit of archaic technology. For one thing, they didn't put the words, neutron, proton or tachyon in it.
