USB WiFI connection suggestions?

I'm going to need to start carrying my laptop, but it doesn't have WiFi (bought back in '07). Don't want to pay for a wireless-broadband plan, so I figured I'd get a USB-WiFi Connector for going to the public library or Starbucks.

So far I've found (on the shelves locally)

or

Linksys WUSBF54G Wireless-G

So folks, anyone got any reccomendations?

Requirements:
-- Under $100 (usd)
-- No plans or contracts.
-- Easy to configure
-- And actually works fairly well for what it is.

How did you manage to buy a laptop in '07 without wifi!?!

Ordered it that way. Stripped down model through the wife's employer-- gotta for 50% less. At the time it was just a spare comp to have in the house when I needed to work when the oldest was on the main computer (90% of what I do as work is offline, the rest is just e-mail and uploading).

Just get a D-Link, Linksys, or Netgear. As long as it supports the 802.11 standards up through n, you should be fine. Just shop for the lowest price.

USB wifi adapters are pretty much interchangeable.
