Sooooooooo happy to see that Avatar ads gone from above, so this is DEFINATELY not a complaint. Did anyone else notice that the new Air Force animated banner seems to be implying that the Reaper drone is somehow ... a Cylon raider?

Like maybe this is the first step in Cylon evolution? Cylon 0.5?

It's the X-45C, which was originally developed for the UCAV/UCAS program. Since it wasn't selected for the program, Boeing didn't want all that work and hardware to go to waste, so it's being flown on company funds as a technology demonstrator. Since it's no longer a DARPA or other government/military program, the program and aircraft has been renamed Phantom Ray by Boeing.
