Uri Geller buys Lamb Island in North Berwick

Uri Geller, the spoon bending guy that claims to have psychic powers, bought Lamb Island in North Berwick, Scotland. He thinks there is Egyptian treasure there. I guess if you want to see him bend some spoons or something you can visit there and see it for yourself. The guy was pretty big in the 70s on talk shows and you might have seen him on shows like Leonard Nimoy's In Search Of.

Heh. I worked with Uri on a show a couple years ago -- the one where all the DOND girls showed up -- and found him to be a very friendly guy.

He was in Celebrity BB over here a few years ago. He seems to have adopted the UK. The Scots are always selling lumps of rock to gullible Americans. It's a national pastime.
