For once... I'm actually behind in my reading! That almost NEVER happens!

I'm on the lookout for Mere Mortals in the Amazon Marketplace. Not up there yet. Waiting until I have all three books so I can read them together. Should only take two and a half working weeks, perhaps less

I don't know how I'm going to survive til summer/fall 09... maybe I should be put in stasis... this is sad, LOL

Star Trek The Collectibles book is now available in stores and online.

Star Trek The Collectibles Magazine will be in stores and available online on November 17.

I ordered my copy of the book along with a couple of other new books (Star Trek and Philosophy: The Wrath of Kant and the BFI Television Classics volume on Star Trek by Ina Rae Hark) from Amazon.ca. They just shipped the latter two but don't have the Collectibles book yet.

Wounds will show up eventually...I hope. I've been keeping an eye out where I can in NYC, but no love yet.

Even Amazon is still listing it for pre-order, and adding that they were supposed to have it to ship on 21 October.

I have not seen it on the island either. Borders.com says it ships in 4-8 weeks

The Borders near Penn Station still has Gods of Night on their "New Release" table (and no copies at all on the shelf in the science fiction section), so I wouldn't go looking there for awhile yet.

Wounds is available as an eBook though for those that want the eBook version.

I found Mere Mortals in a Borders down in Bridgewater, NJ this weekend. On the other hand, the one in Watchung hasn't even stocked Gods of Night yet....losers. :angryrazz:

Thanks to the strange way one of the shops I visit does its ordering I got both Destiny 2 and Collision Course yesterday. I was expecting to get Destiny 1 but it hasn't reached our shores yet. I hope to get it this week and then wait till January for Destiny 3!

I found Collision Course to be pretty awful overall. It just didn't feel true to the characters overall.

Still waiting on Mere Mortals to appear, got it on pre-order at Amazon UK along side Wounds.

Me too (well Mere Mortals) although I ordered it from the local indie book shop and when I asked the bloke behind the counter if he could get it a bit sooner than the 1st December, he said he try and see what he could do.

If the same holds true for Mere Mortals that did for Gods of Night, then it should. Gods of Night has a publish date of 3rd November on Amazon UK, but I got my hands on it 2 or 3 weeks ago now.
