Hmm... since that series ran for 18 issues, and the first 3 were a reprint of the Marvel Super Special ST:TMP adaptation, I would conjecture that the issues being reprinted are #4-18, the original stories.

They are. The TMP adaptation is getting collected with the other movie adaptations, including IDW's June/July Wrath of Khan release, at the end of the year.

I wonder... the TMP adaptation was originally published as a single extra-long story, but when they split it into three issues, they added new opening splash pages for issues 2 & 3. I wonder if the TPB reprint will include those. (The DVD collection includes both versions.)

Has there ever been a Spotlight Alien: Jem'Hadar?

I can't wait til July/August!!!!!!!

Star Trek Omnibus Volume 1, reprinting fifteen issues from Marvel's Trek comics from the early 1980s

Anyone found this on Amazon yet? I've searched on a bunch of different criteria, but I can't find it. Volume 2 I can find, but not Volume 1.

Has there ever been a Spotlight Alien: Jem'Hadar?
No, because IDW's license only covers TOS and TNG. They could, conceivably, do Cardassians and Ferengi and Bajorans, because they all originated on TNG, but the Jem'Hadar are DS9 only, really, and aren't covered by the license agreement.

*grumble grumble*

I guess they're only mentioned in refs to the Dominion war, and that's in the movies for TNG...
Boo!

Oh well, plenty of other neat species... :)

Does anyone know if IDW plans on picking up the rest of the series? I would love to see comics for the other three series.

This week's IDW "Best of DS9" trade omnibus (Malibu reprints) is presumably testing the waters for the viability of a new DS9 comic? Maybe?

My local Borders is extremely well-stocked in comics, with most of the recent tie-in work that you can think of (Buffy, Angel, Serenity, Star Wars, etc) but has no Trek at all. Is that common?

I've ordered Over a Torrent Sea and Mere Anarchy from small independents, and will look at Amazon UK's dates for the release of Full Circle and Treason before deciding where to order them from.

A Singular Destiny looks like a very interesting book....I'll have to see if any local stores have it.

Mere Anarchy and Over A Torrent Sea have made it to Irish shores but I did not buy them yesterday as I'm still reading by Clive Cussler book.
