On the comics front:

IDW's Star Trek: The Next Generation: Intelligence Gathering
debuts in January
From the creative team who brought you KLINGONS: BLOOD WILL TELL! This issue begins an all-new five-part adventure for the Enterprise-D crew! The Enterprise is summoned to a Federation science station, designed to be the ultimate in data storage and information archiving. Data and Riker enter the outpost's gargantuan artificial intelligence system, which may have gained sentience and has begun behaving erratically, with orders to either repair or destroy it. On the Enterprise, meanwhile, Picard and the crew begin to realize that there may be more here than meets the eye...

IDW Alien Spotlight #5 Romulans

And we're still waiting for Year Four #6 which was meant to be the December issue but #5 was a month or so late.

Just got Forged in Fire yesterday (at last)! Klingons don't really do anything for me, so I guess that was my last Trek purchase until March, at the soonest.

I didn't think Klingons were for me either. Never particularly appealed. I stayed away from them books.

...until I eventually read KRAD's Gorkon books when I ran out of other stuff to read. This new one is going to rock!

Don't think of the Klingons in KRAD's books as some monolithic race. The Gorkon series and its related books are about characters, plain and simple. The characters just tend to have more "K" names and bathe less. :)

Ummm, I'm sure it's no spoiler, but there are lots of Klingons in "Forged in Fire".

Prepare yourself for disappointment, as Forged in Fire is quite laden with Klingons......

^ So you did. Still, seeing as how it was my book being dissed and dismissed, it was probably worth saying twice. ;)

SimonSays is showing both Book 4 and Book 5 of Slings and Arrows with a Feb. 1 release date. Is that correct?

There was some confusion with the pub date on That Sleep of Death when I sent it through production -- for some reason they thought it was a February title rather than a January one. It's possible that confusion is still in place...... :brickwall:

Oops. :o

KRAD, I would never dis one of your books. ;) I'm just broke, basically, and I have to have some criteria to know what not to buy. While it is true that I probably wouldn't buy an all-Klingon book from a writer I wasn't familiar with, I have read enough of your work to at least make me curious.

Can I get out of the doghouse (or targ-house?) if I promise to pick up some Gorkon books when I can afford it? Please...?

Worry not, you're not in the doghouse or the targhouse. :) I understand the plight of the ill-funded, and won't hold it against you if you are skipping A Burning House for financial reasons.
