Looking forward to the Excelsior book like you wouldn't believe, though I am a little afraid that it's just going to make me want a whole series of thie things - and there are already too many ongoing Trek series competing for attention in the release schedule.

I cannot wait for Forged in Fire, in fact I've been waiting for this story for either 16 (well, maybe not that many since I was only 4 at the time) or 13 years. (16 for Sulu becoming Captian, 13 for Curzon's Blood Oath with the Klingon Trio.)

Star Trek: Titan

So this one the other night at Wal-Mart, I'll be sure to pick it up in a few days.

Another one I'll have to pick up, but I'll need to go to Borders or Barnes & Noble to get it, since Wal-Mart doesn't carry Trek trades.

Star Trek

I'm not sure if I'll get this one or not...probably, yeah.

I'm for one waiting on Forged in Fire too. I know DC had did a mini series on Sulu becoming captain of the Excelsior but I can't wait to see what happens in this book as well. Should be interesting, since MM&AM are both involved w/ this book. Can't wait for the surprises in store either.

That DC storyline was one of the highlights of their run (written by the great Howard Weinstein); this books has some mighty big shoes to fill, but I have every confidence that "MM&AM" will knock it out of the park.

Same here - I wouldn't mind a series of those, following on from The Sundered and this (which hopefully will live up to its predecessor).

Manybe an annual Captain Sulu book...

Well, Sword of Damocles has been out for two or three weeks, but I don't think Forged in Fire has shown up more than a couple of places as yet.

Clay,

I stopped in to the Barnes and Noble across from Lincoln Square theatere ( I Am Legend was great) and I checked the system and it showed that Forged in Fire was on the way which means that the stores should have it anyday.

I would surmise though that your best bet might be to order it online as you might get it quicker..

Man of Steel,

Thanks for checking! That's actually not too far from me - I'm temping at Columbus Circle right now (and wife is actually working at the Opera, so she's really close!) I'll have to check back at the B&N. Ordering online isn't really much of an advantage withe the holidays next week - I was hoping to read the book while traveling this weekend.

Thanks again for the update, though!

I think you can still get itens delivered by the 24th if you choose Express Shipping.

Your Welcome.

Happy Holidays

I still think that is a shame about Wal-Mart... :(

Neither does mine - and I still can't find a B&M store that's got Forged in Fire in stock. (BordersStores.com lists two local stores as having it in, but a quick check of both stores reveals this to be untrue).
