Yeah there was half a dozen on the shelves on Friday afternoon. I purposely left my wallet at home for my first visit to Galaxy, so that I did not too mad. I will return with my funds this week and a clearer head!

TY for the post. It is great to see Star Trek trying to market to kids. That is the secret of Star Wars success. Star Wars built and maintains a substantial kids and Young Adult market. Star Trek would do well to establish the same market appeal.
Absolutely concur. I am hoping that whatever Trek is brought in down the line on the big or small screen is exploited into reading material for kids and young adults - with the appropriate targeted marketing. The hope then is for them to discover, when they are older, the other TOS, TNG, DS9, etc. books - and to keep reading those as well.
They are reading - I see them at Chapters, both here and in Ottawa, sitting on the floor in the Sci Fi section looking over the books. It is getting them interested and hooked on Trek.

By the way, I just pre-ordered "The Star Trek Book of Opposites" from Amazon.ca. My two year old grand-daughter will be getting it from "Pops" for Christmas!!
