Partial releases: (Please note that Star Trek Reviewed keeps track of partial releases on individual webpages or paragraphs about each production, but does not give partial releases a headline. There is no logical reason a film released all at once should get just one headline while a film released in parts gets many. Headlines are for films which are complete and ready-to-watch.)

4 of at least 5 Acts for Romulan War's Wings of Icarus: http://romulanwars.retreatsetc.com/twoi.html

2 of 7 parts of the Animated Star Track: The Academy Years: http://startrack.goldenmediastudios.com/index.php (So far this has been one of their less comedic and more dramatic episodes)

Star Trek: Spector is up to Scene 45B, lowing 45A-10. This animation is amazing, with great facial expressions but does not yet have the voice cast in place, and the script is all read by one person. The makers have also released an easier to watch set of films on You Tube, 15 minutes each, which I have attempted to list in order on my Specter webpage: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/94.html

Multiverse Crisis has released Part 2 of Infinite Chain: George is wonderful, but I think my webpage is easier to use than his You Tube page, so I give you a link to that: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/34.html

There is a release of a new behind-the-scenes tape from Exeter. No Part IV. I'm giving my own webpage, it's near the bottom, along with such goodies as a proposed animated Exeter: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/21.html

Star Trek: The Mechinima Series, Return to Gothos Chapter 2 was released about a month ago. http://www.youtube.com/user/pcolapatt although again, my webpage probably provides easier viewing: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/37.html

A complete but yet to be edited 3rd episode of Star Trek: A New Beginning has also been released: My page: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/89.html
Their You Tube page: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/89.html

People are always putting up and taking down stuff at Go!Animate. So much so that I may move my section on it at my website to a second website for, shall we say, films that may be just passing through (with apologies to the folk at Farragut). Even the significant Star Trek Armada was down last time I checked.

All good info, Barb. Still, I think it's best for me to post only completed projects when I can. I have deviated a few times with things like Phoenix since the next part won't be out for a year, but they've done a good job of meeting their deadlines so far. I still tend to err on the side of caution with most things, but I guess the others fall under "captain's discretion" for now.

Of course, I always appreciate input from the folks here regarding projects and schedules.

My Headline News (now saved monthly in an historic Headline News website) covered completed films. I just thought I'd take the opportunity to sum up some of the ones I've following that are being released in parts.

But Wings of Icarus is now out and complete, although they haven't yet created the one large file download option, which they generally do before announcing it.

Even as we speak, I'm working on the Wings of Icarus file for Fan Film Friday. In the next fer weeks, I'll be looking at Browncoats: Redemption, and maybe that Power Girl episode you forwarded my way. And who knows what else might pop up in the intervening weeks.

Barb, Randy I hope you are both aware of Doctor Who: Alternate Empire part 2 starring Julian Bane as the *gasp* American Doctor! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bmQiNIbZjs

I e-mailed Randy about it the other day, but my website is limited to Star Trek fan films only. His column in Sci Fi Pulse includes Dr. Who fan films. My Star Trek Fan Film only website benefits more when he reviews Trek films so I can link to his reviews, but hey... I try to be honest!

This listing is usually limited to Star Trek Fan Films.

That sounds fair enough to me! Thank you, Barb. :techman:

In writing Fan Film Friday, I'm always on the lookout for shiny new stuff. I also like variety from an animated film to big honkin' full-scale star wars.

As it stands right now, next week will be Browncoats: Redemption because that just came out as well.I'll get to your production in two or three weeks.

And thanks for the heads-up on your recommendation. Some weeks I wonder what I'm going to write about, and then the heavens open, and several projects come out at the same time. I don't want to play favorites, but the Browncoats spoke with me a few weeks ago and I made them the same promise: ASAP.

One other item could cloud the picture. If you're just now releasing something, let me know in advance if you can. Like the Doctor, I'm trying to stay in the present and be more of a reporter than an archaeologist.

Hang in there and you'll be next in line. But I am curious: When did you folks release your new episode?

Oh, one more thing. If you have a disk that plays on either the pooter or the TV, you might send it my way. That's one reason the Browncoats folks are up next. I can watch it a few times (I do that with everything I review.)

Let me know.

Randy

Also coming very soon, will be another HF/Intrepid collaboration; the 7 minute vignette, One of Our Own. Depending on the availability of the score, either this month or next.

And sometime later this year, Intrepid's next episode, The Stone Unturned. And expect to see one or two additional Intrepid vignettes before the year is out.
