Upcoming Author Signing Events Thread

Anybody coming to the west coast anytime in the near future? I would love to get a book signed.

Kor

And a reminder from me that I'll be at the Ohioana Library Association reception tomorrow (Sunday, April 17) at 1:30-4:00 PM or so, at the Cincinnati Public Library's main branch downtown. I'll also be at the same location on Saturday, May 21 from noon to 5 PM for the Cincinnati Library Comic-Con, which has a Star Trek theme this year.

Bumping the thread to remind folks that my Cincinnati Library Comic-Con appearance is this Saturday (follow link in previous post for details).

I'll be at Shore Leave with a bunch of fellow Trek authors. I've run out of comp copies of the Trek anthologies I was in but I'll have plenty of copies of my weird western series on hand for signing and selling. Was hoping to have my first urban fantasy novel there too, but the print edition won't be ready in time. I may give away signed postcards for a free ebook download tho.

Terry Erdmann and Paula Block will be at Shore Leave 38 this coming weekend--July 15-17. May be our only trip to the East Coast for a while!

I'll be at Geek.Kon this weekend, Aug. 26-28 in Madison, Wisconsin, talking Prey and my other upcoming works in several panels. I'll be at DodecaCon in Columbia, MO, Sept. 16-18 -- and beyond that, I've also been confirmed for New York Comic-Con/BookCon in October.

I didn't realize Mission New York was actually doing panels devoted to the novels, that's cool.

Daft question but will anyone be in the UK (or Europe) at any point? Just so I can determine whether I should read this thread or just ignore going forward :)

So is Una McCormack, and I believe they have both been to British cons and events in the past.

Thank you both Idran and JD - your responses confirm that I need to keep an eye on this thread. Hopefully one day I may get a ST book signed by its author.

@Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore will be signing books at The Reader’s World Book Store in Lee’s Summit, Missouri on September 10th from 1pm-3pm:

The Reader’s World Book Store in Lee’s Summit, Missouri has invited Kevin and me to sign copies of our latest offerings at their location on Saturday, September 10th from 1pm-3pm. Manager Christian Apodaca and her staff have garnered a well-earned reputation for supporting area authors, so we were more than happy to accept their invitation to come and loiter in their store for a while as we talk books and writing.

The store will have copies of Hidden Universe Travel Guide – Star Trek: Vulcan, 24: Trial By Fire, and Purgatory’s Key, our wrap-up novel for the 3-book Star Trek: Legacies trilogy that celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the original series. It’s possible that there may also be a few copies of some of our older titles, and I’m told that fans can also bring their own books for us to sign.

So, if you’re in the area on September 10th and feel like hanging out with us for a bit, come on by Reader’s World and say howdy!

@James Swallow is British, so he might be able to. Though I'm not sure if he still lives in the UK?

I am indeed British and I'm in the UK, and so is m'colleague Una. We've both done UK events in the past - we were at the last official ST event in London.

I'd be happy to come along DST Europe to talk Trek lit, but they've got to invite me first! If you'd like to see Star Trek writers at the event, contact the organizers at Showmasters and Media 10 and let them know...
