I've been bad about updating my personal appearances here (for example, I just got back from Indiana Comic Con), but over Hallowe'en weekend, I'll be at Fanboy Expo Knoxville in Tennessee, as will Trek actors William Shatner, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Peter Weller, Mark Sheppard, Lee Arenberg, and Carlos Ferro, and fellow Trek book & comics scribes Tony Isabella and John Jackson Miller. Carlos, Tony, John, and I will be at Bard's Tower, selling and signing books.

 

Now it can be told: I'm going to be a Guest of Honor at Zenkaikon in downtown Lancaster, PA, March 25-27, 2022.

This has actually been in the works for three years, but the pandemic kept postponing things. Now I'm vaxxed and boosted and ready to go!

I'm at Fanboy Expo Columbus this weekend, specifically at the Bard's Tower booth. Among other things, I have copies of Tales of the Dominion War for sale.

I'm going to be Author Guest of Honor at InConJunction 41 this weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana. Details at this blog post.

 

Those of you within traveling distance of Baltimore, Md., be reminded that a veritable platoon of Star Trek authors and nonfiction & RPG writers will be in attendance at this upcoming weekend’s Shore Leave Convention (July 15–17, 2022), at the Delta Hotels Baltimore in Hunt Valley, Md.

If you can, come to Meet the Pros on Friday night from 10PM to Midnight for conversation and autographs, or find us at random intervals in the hotel’s bar.

 

I'm going to be a guest at GalaxyCon Raleigh this coming weekend in North Carolina. I'll be at the Bard's Tower booth in the exhibit hall alongside Star Trek: TNG actor Carlos Ferro, as well as fellow authors Claudia Gray, Christopher Ruocchio, and Marion G. Harmon.

Other Trek guests who'll be there besides me and Carlos include William Shatner, Brent Spiner, Terry Farrell, Andrew J. Robinson, Fred Tatasciore, Peter David, and David Gerrold.

 

I just had the pleasure of seeing @JJMiller (along with Michael Stackpole and Andrew E.G. Gaska) today (Saturday, July 30) at the Tampa Bay Comics Convention. They did a panel there about “Writing in Star Trek, Star Wars, Aliens, Terminator, and Planet of the Apes & More!”

I’m assuming that all three will be there again tomorrow (Sunday), but I just realized that JJMiller isn’t actually on the con’s Guests List on their website. If he sees this in time, perhaps he can confirm if he will be there again on Sunday.
