Unseen adventures that tease us

^ Yeah...

Plus of course Avon and Servalan appeared in Who (Ok Paul Darrow and Jacqui Pearce) and probably a few other B7 actors (regular and guest) and the Doctor appeared in B7 (Colin Baker hamming it up terribly as Bayban the Butcher!)

Isn't Blake's 7 supposed to be set in the same universe as Who?

As Starkers says, Daleks were suggested to appear at the end of B7 series 2.

Also, Tom Baker and Gareth Thomas were drinking buddies at the time, and had the idea that they should make an appearance in each others series. Nothing elaborate, no working together or anything like that. Just passing in a corridor, too caught up in their own adventures to do more than a quick greeting.
"Morning Doctor."
"Morning Roj."

Needless to say, TPTB didn't go for it.
Ah, that's too bad. What's the harm in a shameless cameo?

I haven't even seen Blake's 7 (yet) but I think such a cameo would be hilarious and quite appropriate of Doctor Who.

Yeah, I keep meaning to watch it, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. I'm going to be in Japan for the foreseeable future starting in a couple of weeks.

Also, what about those planets that were visited and nothing nasty or adventury happened at all....

Obviously we don't get to see it because of the Not Drama. "This week - shopping! Relaxation! Having A Quiet Drink And A Nice Meal!"

You know, I have always wanted to have a "non"-episode of Doctor Who. Just one, where nothing dramatic happens as far as external conflict and all. I think that would be a great change for a show. And, like, The Doctor could just be waiting for something horrible to befall them at any moment, the entire episode. But, nothing ever does... ;)

I really like the idea of a quiet episode. It could be a nice character piece.

Yeah, it could have made Blake's 7 worth watching.

Careful now...

Indeed. ;)

Ever since "Planet of the Dead" I want to see what really happend at the original Easter. This question (whether Jesus really came back from the dead or not) has always bugged me and I'd love to see Who's take on this. (It would also have been RTD's chance to piss as many people as possible off, being the Dawkins adoring atheist he is )

im not sure that I trust him with an actual bible story, we have seen quite enough of theDoctor/Jesus as it is.

That said I would not be against a Noahs Arc type story.

The one where Ten is trying to save Charlemagne from an insane computer.
Ha, yeah, I just saw that bit in "The Unicorn and the Wasp". The Doctor recalls when he was in Belgium and we see him using a machete to hack through a forest with a quiver of arrows & a bow on his back: "I was deep in the Ardennes, trying to find Charlemagne. He'd been kidnapped by an insane computer..." :bolian:
