Unreal is Magical. (Spoilers?)

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
UnReal (2015)

I love Constance Zimmer.

I Love Shiri Appleby too.

:)

Unreal is a scripted drama about a (fake) production crew putting together a (fake) TV show almost very completely just the same as the Bachelor.

Meta fourth wall fun.

They drew this amazing line between sexy and disgusting in the opening moments of episode 2. Shiri woke up in a bunk, took her knickers off, turned them inside out, and put those nasty things back on again.

Wow.

I always used to suck at playing that damn game. I couldn't get through it without turning on God mode.

And those tentacle monsters scared the shit out of me. You'd turn a corner and there'd be this...THING...stuck to the ceiling flinging knives at you. :barf:

Oh, and WHERE'S THE DAMN OS X VERSION?!?!? :scream:

I still have Unreal Tourny 2004 loaded, and I like to run thru an instant-action deathmatch level every evening after dinner, mainly using the flak cannon. Something calming about blasting 25 opponents to chunky salsa in 5 minutes. Takes the edge off the day.

Anybody still watching, even though it has only been renewed for one more season?

I still like it, though it has quieted down a bit, but maybe the season's end will get some new drive again.

Anyway, Netflix does not have Roswell available, to tide the time with some apple pie.

I'm watching.

The suicide was a weird choice.

Here's a time travel thing Shiri did that no one knows about.

IMDB says maybe not?

Above is episode 1 of 9. And there's a season 2 with a new lead.

Youtube will provide.

Topher from Dollhouse is in there at some point too.

Did anyone see last night's episode? I love this show so freakin' much. Shiri is a genius. She's SO good. I've always loved Constance Zimmer, and she doesn't disappoint, but Shiri is just brilliant. Rachel is such a complicated, multi-faceted character. I like that she's allowed to be unsympathetic and make bad choices, sometimes over and over again.

Loved the ending of the episode--I can't wait for the fallout next week.

I don't get the draw of Adam the Bachelor.

Are woman turned on by goofy cardboard cutouts now?

Sure Rachel has seen his complex emotions, but the rest, no offense to Mary are certifiable for going gaga at anyone with that much forehead.

(I've never actually watched the Bachelor.)
