Wonderful job. I like the uniforms but I'm especially impressed of the way he/she's been able to make the faces so representative of the actual actor. That last pic with the entire actual cast is fantastic.

Don't usually chime in on fanart, but these are pretty good. Very current, while being classic trek-ish.

No, we haven't seen them. What we saw could easily be the cadets uniform.Holytomato said:

This movie is not set shortly before Charlie X.
It is set before Where No Man Has Gone Before.

Sorry, but I don't get you.
You're confusing. What has "Charlie X" to do with anything? Yes, this movie is set before "Where No Man ...". But what does this say about the cadet uniforms? We saw a cadet's uniform in "Shore Leave" (Finnegan). It was silver-ish; not grey. But again, this doesn't have to do much with which uniform they'll wear in the new movie.
Sorry, but I don't get you.

Oh hey, cool! I need to get my eye's checked or something, I've been looking in other threads this whole time and didn't even notice the one with my own freaking name in it.
Thank you to everyone for the kind comments. I was pretty excited when the cast was finally complete and I could use the correct people. For 22 Stars: That is actually supposed to be Pegg in the third pic, I just gave him Doohan hair.
I also imagine a landing party jacket that would go along with the uniform, sort of like in Enterprise. I might still try a Klingon, no ridges but with the classic long hair and more armored clothing.

I haven't seen the cadets uniforms. Can you provide a link, since there wasn't a news item either on TrekToday(or I missed it)?
And I think I'll retain my position until anything is finalized. I remember quite vividly how I had kept my hopes up for ENT ship shape(and other stuff) to be less of what it finally turned out and how awesome and more natural were the designs of fans.
I don't raise my hopes up so I don't suffer a similar disappointment. And I can remember we did like the ENT uniforms, however the final design was practically released a very short while after their first sitting and was not kept secretive like now, in a rather bad shot that we've seen the new ones through. Their(ENT ones) shot was also better but we still didn't manage to get all their details right.
Everything you say is ONLY speculation as I see it. The only thing confirmed, that is IF they are the official uniforms, (which is not confirmed) is the general shape and the hat, everything else is speculation.
I wouldn't mind them be the ones, but I just don't know. And you don't know either, unless hunches count.
But I'm sure you want it to be as you think that I'll get just another of those replies of yours.

Bravo! They actually look very well done, while still keeping TOS flavour. Id say they look like a great progression from ENT to TOS. The only thing Id tweak are the colour lines on the pants. Have them go down the side of the pant leg or just keep the pants all black. Other than that, they stay very true to Star Trek.

I think those uniforms look very nice. I'm not sure the movie is going to be quite as light and colourful tho.
