For the United Trek authors out there I was wondering if it still has its own website and if so what is the URL. Also is the "United Trek Universe" open to be joined by 'new' authors.

I’m not sure what happened to our website either. I’ve been meaning to ask one of our members who used to maintain it. Thanks for bringing this up! As far as I know, new members are usually welcome, so long as the active authors are in agreement. I’m on a break at the moment so not sure if my vote would count. 
I think it's fair to say that United Trek has lost a bit of steam over the last few years and is currently in a state of semi-hiatus. The website and forum went down a while ago.
I'm not sure if anyone is currently actively working on an "official" UT story, although Gibraltar's Reykjavik series is still going strong which is UT-adjacent, I believe.
I've been working on a novel set in the UT-verse for the last couple of years but it's not been coming together easily.

I don't have any UT stories in the works. The Bluefin tales pretty much wrapped up with "Ten Hours" and the destruction of the USS Bluefin. Still, never say never.
It made me sad when the old girl kicked the bucket. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would like to see continued adventures on a new ship (or prequel stories from the 'McBride era')
it is a shame the united trek site went down, makes it difficult to find the stories. i enjoyed the united trek universe.
None of it is available at the Wayback Machine or some similar resource?
