I think if you actually want assistance you'll need to provide some guidelines, expectations, requirements etc
right now there's absolutely no direction . . . just alternate history/sci-fi

The idea basically involves a parallel universe USAF uniform (the story involves an inadvertant alteration to the timeline in which Billy Mitchell ends up dying after performing his ship-bombing mission)
The idea would require a realistically drawn standing human male in the services uniforms. The first of course (and truthfully, the most important) would be the blue-service coat.
I've always thought the USAF uniform would look good with stripes on it similar to the RAF Uniforms. Truthfully, the USAF tried that, but I think the issue was the implementation of it.
Personally, I think the early USAF uniforms were good in terms of the basic shape, they had four pockets (two top, two bottom), the coat-collar was a bit higher and so forth. I personally also liked the belt that the USAF Heritage coat had.
To summarize, the basic coat I'm looking for should be something like this
Same coloring, but a white shirt underneath, rather than a light blue, a striping set-up similar to either this
or this
Sound good so far? Any ideas?

What color cap do you think would look best
1.) White cap with white piping (similar to the USMC)?
2.) White cap with the blue piping (same color depicted in the uniforms above)?
3.) Blue cap with blue piping?
Regardless, I think it would be best if the cap had either a light-gold/silvery-gold band (you know, like how the white USMC officer hats, and all USN officer hats have that metal band just above the visor) on it
