Underworld #4 - Beckinsale in 3D?

Exactly, shush.

I'm entitled to say what I think.

As am I, which is to say I find a self confessed dumpy middle aged housewife calling a younger, much more attractive successful movie star "old" when said actress is looking very good for her age hypocritical at best, laughably sad certainly and yet another example of your constant attempts to rile people up.

All considered, rather pathetic and unneeded.

As far as I know I have never made any comment about your appearance. Also as far as I know commenting on the appearance of lady film stars is actually permitted on this board. Indeed the threads dedicated to this very topic are legion.

Also I'm fairly sure personal attacks are frowned upon outside the Zone.

There is no "personal attack", as I said the points raised are ones you volunteered yourself from time to time.

I simply disagree with your remark and explained why I thought it was funny and hypocritical of you to make it.

Either way nothing we say here makes any difference to her career, which at this point could well be two more films in this franchise if the 'second trilogy' plan goes ahead, so I'd get used to these threads and her appearance in them.

It was a personal attack.

You're not fooling anyone.

Also, she's never going to be your girlfriend. Man up and accept it.

Absolutely no problem, except when Neroon wakes up and punches me up the froat. Sorry if I upset anyone but she is looking old. She used to have quite a round, youthful face and now she's got craggy. It has to do with the enforced diet they have to be on for 30 years or so. It finally takes its toll.

At least you weren't compared to Yoda for the age remark about Beckinsale, Deckerd. I'll take an aging Beckinsale over most of the actresses onscreen anyday. If only someone will get her together with Milla Jovovich in one of these movies soon.

I'd suggest some Ultraviolet/Underworld cross over if the former hadn't been so crap, but I'd settle for Milla turning up as a new Elder or a Death Dealer in the next film.

Are you talking about 'together' in that way that men talk about women in films?
Like Lucy and Ethel?

I liked Ultraviolet for what it was, Milla busting stuff up. I find it easiest to watch by turning off the volume until she starts kicking butt. I remember an Elder being left, I forget the name offhand but thought the Elder was a woman. It sounds like Mila time.

Beckinsale=hot...still, 39 or not.

I thought the Letterman clip was a fun, personality showing segment contrary to the discussion of her age. That type of self-effacing in a fun spirit is quite charming imo.
Now, back to looks, those legs are in good shape. The long shot of her walking out in that dress was impressive, too bad that's not out there yet.

So you're going to see the film in theaters to support the hopes of a "next film" happening, right? :techman:

All three of the original Elders are dead, Emilia and Viktor in the first and Markus in the second, though there seems to be a new elected Elder of the coven shown in the trailers for Awakening, so surviving groups of Vampires may have the oldest or strongest of them elected to lead, Milla could very well play a new female coven leader.

And yes I'll be seeing in the cinema at least once, and I'll be getting the quadrilogy on Blu-ray when it comes out. :D

A third lobby poster was released online today.

She's looking a bit old.

Compared to what?? She looks amazing..

I'm not a fan of heavy makeup, but when you're under the lights in a studio you have to put on twice as much as you normally would (I know from tv news experience) so that ages (visually) you big time.
