Underrated: Generations. I was tempted to say TMP, but it seems a bit much like 2001: A Space Odyssey lite. Generations is a pretty good film, bashed by many because of the way it killed off Kirk, which admittedly was pretty poor.
Overrated: Hmm, I'll have to say The Voyage Home. I loved it and all, but it doesn't deserve to be the highest grossing ST film.

Overrated: The Voyage Home. Horribly dated and too - environmentalist. No offense meant to anyone by that it's just too preachy for me.

I honestly prefer The Final Frontier to TVH.

Wow, I spent so long thinking it was the highest grossing. I really like TMP. I remember seeing it as a young kid and being utterly in awe of V'Ger. It's a really fantastic film.

Under appreciated : Star Trek: Insurrection.

Honestly, I really enjoyed this movie. I don't know how it's looked upon by the general Trek fan community, but I really liked it. It might have something to do with the fact that my life was going very, very well at the time too, but I don't know. I love the story and it's definitely in the Roddenberry style without question.

I say this about it always and it's not the best of the Star Trek movies, but it's far from the worst. I'd take this one over Nemesis any day.

Insurrection is a great movie and I stand by that. :thumbsup:
