Ultimately Human Special Trek XI Edition

Some of you might be familiar with the monthly TrekCore specials Rare Photos and Ultimately Human. Some might not. :P

That said, this month, I wanted to do something specific for Trek XI, and as such decided to post about it in here to let you all know.

Ultimately Human, for those who aren't aware, is a monthly photographic special where I show the actors from Trek as they are, out of costume. I did so this month with the cast of Trek XI.

It goes beyond simply the core 7 of Kirk, Spock, et cetera. Captain Robau, Lt. George Kirk, Nero's First Officer Ayel, Sarek... you get the idea. I did have to break one of my cardinal rules of not using red carpet photos in order to include Captain Robau -- couldn't find any other acceptable images of the actor.

As for those wondering why April's edition never materialized... I just plumb forgot! It happens.

I've had a thing for Bruce Greenwood since he was younger; I saw him in a made-for-TV movie where he was the heart throb, and I was a goner.

I was going to ask where Chris Hemsworth's picture was, but then I realized I thought he was a teen Chris Pine. Chris Hemsworth is a real hottie. Those two were cast well as father and son.

Chris Hemsworth is gorgeous, after I got home from the movie the first time I saw it I immediately went online to find out who played George Kirk lol.

It's really amazing how much Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pine look alike. Also, Bruce Greenwood looks so young. He has aged well!

Glad everyone enjoys them. I do too; hence why I do the specials! Heh.

You'd be surprised how difficult it is to find quality out-of-costume photos of our favorite actors and actresses. Though, actresses are much easier to find than the actors. That said, most photos of them sans costume are usually too small or red carpet based. Finding high quality, high resolution, stuff? Wow. Rare Photos is easier by a mile! Hehe.
