^ It seems to have been written by a child doesn't it? There's not a single punctuation mark in the whole paragraph that line comes from.

That cannot be written by a professional journalist, maybe a school age intern/work experience.

And some... miserly speech mark use:

And quite apart from the horrendous proof-reading, it uses 'demons', 'ghosts', 'monsters', 'satanic beings' etc. completely interchangeably. I'm assuming this guy is new to the paper. To English, too.
