The new animated show on Comedy Central that premiered tonight after the new South Park.

I liked it. I had virtually no expectations, especially since CC has not had the best track record with animated shows in the past. But I do love the concept of humans and non-humans living in New York City. Especially since "non-humans" apparently means pretty much any creature you can imagine; demons, zombies, wizards, squid, land whales, vampires, werewolves etc. This makes the possibilities pretty limitless.

The main character is roommates with a zombie, and dates a demon chick from hell. Interesting.

It definitely looks like something that should be on Adult Swim rather than CC.

After the first episode I say "thumbs up". What say you?

It was interesting enough to try again next week but not hilarious or anything.

I went in expecting to have to turn it off after 5 minutes, but it actually wasn't bad. The animation and all the weird character designs looked pretty cool in full wide-screen high def.

Same here. Not bad, especially for a first episode. Hopefully it will develop into something really good. The potential is there.

I watched it because I didn't have anything better to do between South Park and the Daily Show. I wasn't really all that impressed. I didn't find it very funny and I wasn't all that impressed with the artwork, coloring or animation.
Of course I'll probably watch it again just because of the timeslot.
