I remember watching this Scotland vs. New Zealand match at the last Rugby Union World Cup in 2007, and remember getting a headache from watching the two team colours merging horribly into one dark grey grey, confusing and unwatchable mass.

the Astros unis in the 70s were odd, but at least the were original. My vote would have to go with the Padres in the early 80s MLB. Half the throwback unis in football are godawful. How about Manchester United's infamous grey away strip from 1995-6?

It had quite an impressive camouflage effect at games, to the extent that the players couldn't actually see each other. Rather oddly, apparently it's one of the best-selling Man U strips among fans.

Anyway, I don't think anyone had time to complain. The manager just stormed in and said: "Get that kit off, you're getting changed." Those were the first words he said at half-time. I don't think he liked the shirt anyway - our results had been poor whenever we wore it, and we certainly never played in it again.

Seattle Seahawks in a 2008 game against the Chicago Bears wore hideous neon green jerseys.

Cincinnati Bengals, 1981 to present.

Oakland Raiders. Howie Long once claimed the Raiders had "the best looking uniforms in the league." Not.

Virginia Tech football (orange jerseys - although the maroon certainly aren't much better).

Oregon football in the early 2000's.

Philadelphia Eagles, sky-blue and garish gold throwback uniforms used in a 2008 game.

Seattle Seahawks in a 2008 game against the Chicago Bears wore hideous neon green jerseys.

Reminds me of the jerseys that the Sounders (Seattle's soccer team) wear. Maybe that's why the Seahawks did that?
