UFO's ? Not aliens. Distances are too great, FTL travel too unlikely, wormholes too problematic.
Oh, and time. Deep time. Even if the aliens are technologically advanced enough and somehow capable of getting here, there is an unimaginably deep gulf of time since the formation of the first planets - surely a prerequisite for any development of higher life forms.
What are the chances in that vast timespan that these aliens actually exist at the same time as us ?
