Thanks, Sean. You've obviously invested a good deal of thought and effort into these designs.

Hi there.
Those images are quite nice. One question though:
Why does the mirror-starship have a slightly different
hull and engines? On purpose or is the mirror-starship
based upon an older design?
Your Tino.

We've seen logos/decals/etc. for things such as the Galaxy-class development project, which aren't worn on uniforms but are seen displayed on computer screens/bulkheads/etc. in various episodes (See "11001001" or "Galaxy's Child" or "Pathfinder" for examples). Just because we don't see such logos for every ship doesn't mean they don't exist.
Dayton is correct. The DS9 manual gave us a look at DS9's official logo and the Defiant 's logo, so there could be logos for the starships and starbases still, just not seen as much. I think it would be a good idea to see them once and awhile. I think the fighter pilots probably wore those logos more since during the DW, they most likely had their starship logo and the squadron logo on their uniform and maybe flightsuit, if they wore one.
To me, the logo Sean designed is more for that use. That it evokes something from the ENT era is no different than shuttle mission patches that harken back to the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo days.
