TWOK Steelbook BluRay coming, probably just a re-release...

Why go through the trouble of repackaging a previous release like that? Are there really any fans out there willing to buy this again simply for the steelbook? I doubt it......

I don't have any Trek blu rays yet. And I like steelbooks. And this one looks magnificent. I might be the target group.

But I'd rather have a better remastered version than the current low quality blu rays.

Personally, I don't consider them low-quality, I mean, there are worse blurays out there. But, compared to actual remasters like TNG, they kinda blow yeah.

Steelbooks are very popular. There must be a significant number of collectors out there because the studios have re-released hundreds of titles at this point.

For some folks the steelbooks are a craze--so yes, they will get some sales from this.

Fix the too blue and add the DC and I'd prefer the steelbook to a regular case!

The blue doesn't bother me as much as it bothers some really. However, if they released the DC, it'll be on my shelf in a heartbeat. But only then. I'm not paying for this movie again just because it's a steelbook.
