Two NFL players still missing at sea

I keep checking for any kind of update as to teh Coast Guard's search but to no avail. Whatever prayers and good thoughts you can muster, for these men, their two fellow and as yet unnamed passengers, as well as their friends and families ..... now's a good time.

Things sure aren't looking very good right now. Personally, I've never gotten the appeal of deep sea fishing on a small boat. If I can't swim to shore I want to be on an ocean liner or something.

Apparently the boat has been located with one man "clinging to it". The survivor is Nick Schuyler.

Story

The story has a pic of the type of boat they took out. I wouldn't want to be on a 21 footer in a storm on a lake, much less the open ocean.

Tragedy.

Not looking good for them. Sad, reminds me of Marquis Hill, the young Linebacker the Patriots lost last offseason in a jetski accident (he apparently made sure his girlfriend made it to cling onto something before slipping away)...

I don't even like taking my 30-foot boat out on the St. Croix river when it's choppy: I can't imagine being on a 21-foot boat 35 miles from shore.

It doesn't look good, but if Schuyler had time to don a life jacket, maybe the others did as well. With a life jacket, at least there's a chance.

Al Davis did always want to find a vertical threat for his players.

He just wasn't counting on it being an ocean.

their family didnt understand either.
some members of their respective families had gone out with them and told them they never would go again and pleaded with them not to keep on doing it.
i havent spent time out in boats on the gulf but spent a lot time out on dauphin just looking how fast the waters can change especially in the afternoon.

it is so depressing...
:(

i feel so bad for their families.

This is very sad news. These guys were just trying to have a quiet vacation, and it turned to tragedy.

My prayers to their families. :(
