Two New Episodes Next Week?

Just looking at CTV Sci-Fi's schedule for next Thursday and they list both Episode 7 Those Old Scientists and Episode 8 Under the Cloak of War as being on. Likewise Episode 9 Subspace Rhapsody is listed on their August 3 schedule. The TV Guide on my cable service also lists Episodes 7 and 8 next week and Episode 9 the week after.

Anyone know what's going on here? If we're getting two new episodes in Canada next week, the US must certainly be as well, but to my knowledge Paramount+ has not announced anything, or at least it's not being discussed anywhere here. Did whoever writes the CTV Sci-Fi schedules make one hella screwup? Did they reveal something before it was supposed to be announced? And furthermore, who two next week? Possibly some sort of compensation for those who attend Comic Con who are going to see Those Old Scientists on the weekend, this way they still get a new episode next week anyway? Coordinating the schedule for having Lower Decks premiere at a certain point?

My PVR in Canada says the same thing

Only a single episode was mentioned in The Ready Room. But those are also filmed months before airing, so if something changed, it wouldn't reflect it.

Maybe it's a strategy to boost viewership in the back half of the season? Episode two slipped down a spot in the Neilson top ten apparently (although streaming minutes went up, so I don't know what to read in that...)

Anyway, as much as a double bill would be nice, part of me hopes this is a mistake, because I don't want this season to be over too quickly.

Pshaw. Neilson charts are irrelevant to CTV. Only Canadian charts matter.
