Two And A Half Men (CBS) Ashton Kutcher!!!

I just attributed the closed casket and unidentifiable body to the lack of Charlie Sheen. I didn't read anything into it.

Well obviously and no, there's nothing to read into it. But I think what people here are saying that there's a "loophole" to bring him back if somehow Sheen and Lorre were to "kiss and make up."

Will that happen? I highly doubt it, but the door is open.

Not really unless they either pull out the lamest excuse ever (like it was all a great hoax) or a Dallas where Alan wakes up from a season long dream to find Charlie going to town on some skank.

Either way it would be a huge cop out and a pretty sure way to sink the show for good. However i don't believe it will ever happen.. there was so much hate and weirdness happening during that it seems impossible to find common ground to ever work together again.

And from what i read yesterday Sheen is about to earn 100 million dollars in the next time due to contract issues and has already received 25 millions.. he's no struggling actor who once had a hit show and who's now pennyless and has to take up any gig because of the money (i doubt even he can spend 100 million on hookers and drugs).

I don't think it's likely either, however Sheen lately has been expressing a desire to return to the show.

As for the loophole, oh absolutely it would be totally contrived, but this is a TV show we're talking about. IF that's the only thing that stood between them "kissing and making up," I'm sure that won't be a problem for them.

Yeah, from a story standpoint, it's not a stretch. No body, only witness we have is a character that we KNOW is a deranged psycho. How hard would it be to just have him show up, saying he just escaped from some sex dungeon Rose locked him in?

Not saying it's happening, as they clearly burned bridges there, but from a story standpoint, it's not even much of a stretch....

Whose ashes then? The crematorium had to burn SOME body.

It was an exploded meat balloon, not a lot of recognizable parts left there. Could have been anyone, really, or even a side of beef. Really not a stretch, and if you didn't KNOW the actor had left the show, that's about the first thing you'd imagine, and that he'd be back in a couple episodes...

Rose could've arranged to have someone else's ashes sent to the Harper residence and no one would ever know. No need for them to explain WHOSE ashes they are, just that the deranged psycho set it all up. This is a sitcom, not CSI where everything has to be explained.

I didn't even notice Tricia Helfer in there!

Rose could easily have switched bodies and tossed a fake meat bag down there or something. How great a reveal would it be showing Rose in her house with Charlie permanently tied to the bed?

The reactions were pretty unnatural, which kinda takes the fun out of it. Mia and Chelsea, seriously? As long as he was alive, they had feelings for him.

That would be a great final scene for a series finale. Who knows, maybe Charlie and Chuck could mend their bridges and we could get a Charlie Harper cameo.

She only had one or two lines and was sitting in the back. She's one of the women revealing which STD Charlie had given her at the beginning of the funeral scene:
