Two And A Half Men (CBS) Ashton Kutcher!!!

I gave it a shot but it really wasn't very funny. I hope it improves. I still think that it would have been better if Herb had divorced Judith and moved in with Alan and Jake.

Kinda hard to judge on this episode alone. It was a transition episode, didn't really get much of a feel for how the show is going to be going forward...

I did enjoy it and it still felt like the old show. While it is a bit too early to tell if there will be chemistry between Ashton and the rest I did enjoy the episode and I am pretty confident the show will do fine.

I generally liked the episode but I couldn't tell if Ashton was intentionally playing a socially awkward character early on in the episode or if that's his lack of acting ability showing through. I suppose that could be construed as a good thing if it's the former.

I'll probably stick with it unless things go horribly wrong which doesn't look too likely given that the show appeals to the lowest common denominator.

I thought it was funny. Jon Cryer completely carried the show and worked well off Kutcher. Kutcher's fine but he's going to have to be a lot more than Kelso 2.0 in order for this to work in the long-term.

I don't generally watch the series but I've seen it a few times and was curious. I didn't think Ashton was a very good replacement but it's quite possible he'll be better in later episodes. Sure seems there was some lingering bitterness they were chewing on. I did enjoy the Charlie roast afterwards on Comedy Central.

I think Charlie faked his own death.

Yeah, the closed coffin seems like a big enough loophole to bring him back if they want to, and they could write Rose to say whatever they need to.

I got a really good laugh...
...when Alan spilled Charlie's ashes.

I think I'm the only person on this BBS that likes Ashton Kutcher. Anyways, I loved him on the show, and will at least watch the second part of this two parter premiere.

I really loved the introduction of Kutcher. I truly did not expect to see him there, and then *SPILL*. I loved how horrible everyone was being about Charlie's death. The second half of the episode quickly got predictable and obvious, though...

Last night was my first episode of the show and it was enjoyable. I'll watch the second part next week at least. And yes, the Dharma & Greg cameo was a nice touch.

Later on that night, I decided to watch a rerun of Two and a Half Men just to get a taste of what the show was like with Charlie Sheen. I also recorded the Roast. I found out it was going to be on when I caught mention of it in the paper around dinner time.

The John Stamos cameo was funny too, considering he was rumored to be in the running for the replacement character...

CBS easily won the first night of the season as Two and Half Men scored nearly 28 million viewers to go along with its 10.3 adults 18-49 rating (leading not only the night, but any scripted show in the 2010-11 season by a wide margin).

9:00 CBS Two and a Half Men (Season Premiere) 18-49 Rating 10.3/24 Viewers (Millions) 27.76

Interesting...but I am not surprised...next week should be high as well for the other half of the premiere.

Wasn't the UPS guy also on Dharma and Greg?

no he was'nt I don't know who he was. but I really liked guest stars. I was wondering who the first guy was he seemed very familar? I hope the show last I like Ashton Kutcher from the that 70's show. I was surprised no one from that show guest stared.

I had no idea who those people looking at the house were, except Jenna Elfman, until reading this thread. Oh well.
