TV's memorable motors

Then there's Michael Weston and his poor, poor, 1971 Dodge Charger. That thing has seen almost as much action as Michael (and received just as much, if not more damage).

-The Batmobile

-The General Lee

-The Knight Industries 2000/Knight Automated Roving Robot

-The Rockmobile (Let's ride/with the family down the street/through the/ courtesy of Fred's two feet!)

-the Munstermobile

There's my list.

The Batmobile

The General Lee

The Impala from Supernatural

ATM I'm also loving the SUVs that they drive on Criminal Minds. I love big SUVs anyway, but the shiny black with the flashing police lights really makes me want one!

Beautiful car. The main character Ray had a special headlight attachment for the car. If he was tailing someone at night, he'd hook this thing on with a bunch of different headlights. The person he was following would see a Jeep behind him and then when he'd turn a corner, Ray would flip a switch and it would look like a motorcycle was following.

EXCELLENT show, if I do say so myself.
I would have to go with:
The TV show Batman
"most" of the Autobots in the first Transformers
KITT from the first Knightrider
Then KITT from the second.
the '67 Impala from Supernatural
Crockett's Ferrairi Testarosa on "Miami Vice"
Nash Brisges and his Hemi Cuda
Spenser's Mustang tie with Ray's Stngray
And Starsky and Hutch's Ford Torino.

The Lotus 7 from The Prisoner, made even sweeter by the fact No. 6 says he built it from scratch (back when people actually built cars for a hobby from kits you could get).

Doctor Who had a couple of great cars: a yellow roadster dubbed Bessie, and a "flying" car called the Whomobile. Here's Jon Pertwee showing off the Whomobile on Blue Peter. Car-aficionados will appreciate some of the technical discussion of the car (which shows how into it Pertwee was - he knew that car inside and out. I read somewhere he designed it but in the interview he credits someone else):

Useless trivia dept.: the Blue Peter host who goes on the tour of the car, Peter Purves, played companion Steven Taylor with William Hartnell's Doctor about 8 years before this was recorded.

What about all those army jeeps on MASH? I always think about them driving all over the "Korean" countryside in those.

I'd have to go with Automan's car. Actually it was Cursor which created a car for Automan to use. I love the way that thing turned corners at 90 degree angles.

Number 6's Lotus Super 7
Bodie and Doyle's silver Capri
Simon Templar's Volvo, and, later, XJS.
Gene Hunt's Quattro (I don't rate the Mk III 'tini so highly)
The A-Team's van

Oh, I completely forgot about the Gran Torino from Starsky and Hutch and FAB1 from Thunderbirds. I totally wanted to be Lady Penelope when I was a kid!!!
