TV Renewal/Axe List (February Sweeps)

i would like V to get at least one more season, though i know its just not gonna happen.

Dammit, FOX. I should know better by now than to like a show that's on FOX. I swore I wouldn't and here I am, watching Human Target which is, of course, going to be canceled by freaking FOX. And after they axed Keen Eddie (ALSO starring Mark Valley), no less.

I am an idiot.

I watched the pilot of The Cape and that was enough for me. I was very underwhelmed.

NBC is reducing the number of episodes for The Cape. Instead of 13 there will be 10. It's dead.

Also they have wrapped up the 10 already so no finale for the story at all, not even the original season finale...sorry Cape fans.

Woah, when did CSI:NY and CSI:Miami become bubble shows?

The whispers of there demise began a few months ago though last season I said either this current season or in 2012 we would lose our first CSI show so am not surprised. Being a sunday 10pm CBS show is awful but I do expect CSI Miami to probably avoid death but CSI NY it seems has fallen out of favour a little at CBS so I could see it ending this season or more likely a final shorter season announced for Fall 2011.

The problem is that both shows are not cheap to make due to high salaries am guessing and both are not putting in good demo numbers, though their timeslots explain why. I would put CSI Miami with the NCIS night personally because its a better fit with the overall's night theme and move The Good Wife to wednesdays. CSI NY I would give a 13 wrap up and try something fresh and cheaper on friday nights.

Damn you NBC! :scream:

:( Somehow an 11th ep needs to be produced even if it is for DVD.

Trying to work out a CBS lineup for next season and I would do a few things different, for one announce the final season of Two & Half Men because Charlie is a loose wagon. I would also air a shorter final season of CSI NY and put that in the awful sunday 10pm slot because it would not matter and a new show can air on that slot after the NFL season is over due to no more overruns. The Good Wife's demo means a friday move IMO at 10pm with Blue Bloods moving to 9pm.

Monday
How I Met Your Mother - NEW SHOW - Two & Half Men - Mike & Molly - Hawaii Five 0

Tuesday
NCIS - NCIS: LA - CSI: Miami

Wednesday
Survivor - Criminal Minds - Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior

Thursday
The Big Bang Theory - RoE or NEW SHOW - CSI - The Mentalist

Friday
NEW SHOW - Blue Bloods - The Good Wife

Sunday
60 Minutes - The Amazing Race - Undercover Boss - CSI: NY

--------------------------------------

Come midseason with NY finished I would put a new show there and also the typical spring new comedy can air. I would also consider making Undercover Boss only 13 episodes now to keep it fresh as erosion is setting in and airing a new show in midseason 2012.

In all honesty hasn't Chuck been the most consistent show to survive that every year felt like it was "likely to be cancelled".
Has any of its seasons ended and TV followers felt confident it was coming back?

It's certainly lead a charmed life. Most years, the back 9 pickup hasn't even been certain. This explains why the show has had about 6 or 7 season/series finales in its 4 years.

I don't care if NBC is dumb or smart. All I care about is that they renew the shows that I like. That includes Community.

I hope 'Community' gets another season.

NBC are dumb enough so you might get your wish, though really its never shown any real life unlike fellow low rated comedies 30 Rock and Parks.
I'm also on the Community bandwagon and have been with it since the first episode.

I've always thought 30 Rock was overrated. When I've sampled that show over the years I either catch the worst ep every time or it's that overrated.
Parks I've gotten some humor out of but even that is too uneven imo.
Outsourced is funnier than both frankly in a shorter period of time.

The only show I care about is "Raising Hope" and THAT has been renewed!

YAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D

Community is a fun show. I hope it gets renewed.

The Cape was painful to watch. I saw the first two back-to-back episodes, and I gave up a little bit into the third one.
