Not to ABC and CBS...If you have struggling freshman shows then DO NOT AIR them out of repeat lead in's
CBS renewed the reality hit "Survivor for 2 more seasons though that of course will play out over the single season of 2011-2012. The CM spinoff remains 50/50 on my list but I expect it to increase with a original lead in next week...HOWEVER its not the smash hit CBS were hoping for, maybe its time to stop all the spinoffs and create some original drama for a change.
Mr. Sunshine moves into "Likely to be cancelled" terrority and I can't help but feel it would of been a better fit with The Middle and appearing earlier in the season...A better pilot helps too by all accounts
Minute to Win is a summer show ONLY but don't be surprised to see NBC yank it all together after this season. The age of prime time quiz shows is OVER so stop trying it FFS.
Next Top Model will soon be Final Top Model though the desperate CW will probably keep it around for another season at least.
With X factor coming next fall to potentially allow FOX to dominate that portion of the season like Idol does with midseason, I can't help but feel this will crush scripted shows even worser in the future...Am sorry but this reality crap is not good TV. After so many years on the air the fact Idol can almost get 25 million viewers is a SAD SAD statement for the current TV viewing public.
Thank god for cable, well non MTV cable
