Round-Up...

ABC had a truly horrible night and would you look at that, ABC...A 10pm show with poor ratings, told you so. The Alphabet network took a huge risk to delay airing all 3 shows after everyone else and it has backfired in a massive way. While its still early days, the only one I can see digging themselves out of there giant holes is Private Practice but I think ABC would be wise to partner up the spinoff with its parent show.

Knight Rider pretty much held, which is rare coming after a pilot with a small increase in total viewers & only a 0.1 loss in the demo, however while I would love to see the data on DVR/ITunes/Website viewers, the demo score should be better. NBC will struggle to find a show to fill the shows of America's Got Talent, which I think NBC should make two editions a season coming in the fall & midseason though if they were smart they would of used the 2 episodes to air before KR to boost it and then moving KR to 8pm. Lipstick Jungle is a total FAILURE.

CBS 8-9 slot are total failures and expect to see Gary Unmarried to be axed in the next few episodes but Old Christine has a little bit more sway with CBS due to how it used to on Monday nights. CBS if Worst Week drops again next week then I would switch the two for the rest of the fall season. Great to see that CBS have failed to replace the 8pm slot since Jericho aired season 1 there :p (which got average of a season 9.5 million in that slot)

Bones carries on to be the only FOX show growing from one year ago and along with Fringe & House, the only real winners for them this year. Til Death needs to be removed and quick, its becoming a huge embrassment, hey FOX, New Amsterdam would of been a perfect partner for Bones you idiots.

Top Model keeps doing the job for CW but if the year to year erosion carries on soon it won't be pulling 4 million's anymore.

I ask again, why is Til Death not axed yet?

ABC ooh considering they are all Season Debuts those arnt good numbers for all 3 shows.

Lipstick Jungle, can I axe that now please?

and CBS, dont think that comedy block is going to work for them.

I am watching exactly 5 shows this year, and 4 of them are on Wednesday night.

Unfortunately, 3 of the 4 are the three ABC shows (the 4th being Bones).

I agree that they should move Private Practice to partner it with Grey's Anatomy (the 5th show I am watching this season). The two shows have the same audience and ABC ought to put them together.

Dirty Sexy Money is a great show...but it's tough to go up against CSI: NY (although it astounds me that people still watch all these CSI and L&O shows night after night after night, year in and year out, and aren't bored to tears by now) and I think if they moved it to a less competitive time slot it would do much better - especially since last season, it was one of those first season shows which never really got a stable audience because the writer's strike ended it's season after just 10 episodes. It needs to be on late due to the adult themes...but if they gave it a try on another night it might do better. It has an extremely strong cast and a quirky yet gripping storyline. I hope things improve for this show.

Bones and Pushing Daisies are the only two shows in my personal schedule which conflict. Both are excellent, however. Bones is doing okay...but Pushing Daisies needs to improve. Of course, critical gushing aside, it was yet another first season show which had a really short season last year. And I think those short seasons really handicapped all of last year's freshman shows.

I pretty much agree with all of this! :techman:

Private Practice doesn't have the built-in audience that one would expect from a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy. It clearly can't anchor a night by itself, but if you pair the two together, the ratings would probably be dramatically higher.

CSI and L&O ...

I only watch CSI (Vegas) my parents watch CSI and CSI: Miami.

No Law and Order except re runs of SVU on TNT:rolleyes:

They went too overboard with both franchises or as I put them "epic cop sagas"

I like Bones but It runs against my abornmal psych class so I didn't bother to record or get into this season.

I love Criminal Minds. I don't really understand why people like CSI: NY I think its got the least interesting cast, takes place in the least exciting place and just doesn't do anything for me except its got the better WHO theme/credit song with Baba O'riley:lol:
