I really like Raising hope, there is a craziness that Malcolm in the Middle had to it.

I find it amazing that nearly 40 million people watched TV on Tuesday at 8pm. Glee had it's best ratings ever, NCIS is still going insanely strong and somehow No Ordinary Family didn't get lost in the crowd.

Parenthood would be dead if NBC didn't order 22 episodes. It's really on a dumb night. The Biggest Loser (which is NBC) should be on Fridays while Outlaw and L&O:LA be on Tuesdays and Parenthood be on after SVU. It seemed Parenthood was NBC's try at HBO / Showtime drama and that they failed at it, what a shocker!

Plus Hell's Kitchen should move to Thursdays and Thursdays should move to Wednesday.

Thanks for the continual updates Jax, they are appreciated!!
Looking forward to seeing how the CBS & NBC comedy blocks perform tonight. Especially $#*! My Dad Says after getting 12.5m last week.

Is Parenthood going to be ok with that 4m+ number?
What about Hellcats, I guess being on CW saves it somewhat.

Parenthood is DEAD with those numbers but will probably air its full season cause NBC has nothing to air in its place. Hellcats should be ok for the CW if it stays above 2 million but that demo could be better.

FOX and ABC are both making big mistakes...

FOX should move the cheper Kitchen Nightmares to 9pm Thursday since struggling in that slot would mean little to a show like Kitchen Nightmares (it used to air there). Fringe could lead Wednesday night or go at 9pm with a new show joining it.

ABC needs to take advantage of Modern Family lead in and place The Middle at 9:30. My gut tells me following Modern Family would see The Middle break 10 million and a 3.0 demo. Coguar Town should move to 8:30pm and follow Matthew Perry new show once that airs.

Also J.J why make new show for NBC of all networks

Undercovers would probably have 10-12 million viewers on CBS. Anything they air gets ridiculously good numbers.

Too bad about Undercovers while it isn't that great last night's episode was better than the pilot. It would do good on CBS or USA network (it would fit right at home there). It's hard to get any traction on NBC considering how bad of a network it is. I'm worried about the Terry O'Quinn/Michael Emmerson pilot should it make it to series. It's on NBC...will anyone be there to watch it?

ABC wants The Middle to lead into 8:30 and then Modern Family will lead into 9:30. They are trying for two leads.

Plus The middle really is an 8pm show and not a 9:30 show. However Cougar Town should have never been given a second season, they are just wasting Modern Family's lead with that crap.

The problem with NBC is they never show ads on other networks and no one watches NBC. I was watching Bravo and there was an ad for I think Modern Family on ABC. Bravo is a NBC show, NBC needs to start showing ads for it's shows on TNT, TNN, USA (which is owned by NBC), just every channel they can get.

I was really starting to get into Life Unexpected...hope it stays on.

ABC's Wednesday night comedy block is becoming my favourite block of the week. I'm finally coming around to Modern Family more, and I'm enjoying Better With You so far. I still don't understand why Cougar Town loses so much of MF's audience - it's the superior show in my opinion. Nice to see The Middle doing better than last year too. Vastly underrated show.

I didn't enjoy Running Wilde at all this week and won't miss it when it gets axed. I'm liking Raising Hope more and more though. Martha Plimpton especially is fantastic.

I thought No Ordinary Family would premiere higher. Curious to see how big a drop it suffers next week.

Amen to that, I'm sure Captain Craig and myself speak for MANY others when we say "Thank You!"

Again "me too." I guess I'm expecting a huge drop off in Shat's numbers. I haven't spoken to one person who liked the show last week. And as I recall it wasn't too well received in thread for the show either. Personally I enjoyed the hell out of it but I think I'm the ONLY person that I know that liked it.

I don't get it either. But then I like $#*! My Dad Says, so what the hell do I know.

The Whole Truth isn't DOA like Lone Star. But it doesn't look like it's going to last long. Usually the shows that lose their audiences, you can see how they're either badly done or decline in quality or are in some way provocative to conventional taste. But these shows that don't lose any significant audience yet never had a big audience to lose are a mystery.

Speaking of Wednesday, since Lone Star got canceled, Fox moved Lie to Me to take its place on Monday... and are moving Human Target from Friday to fill the Wednesday spot.

Mmmmm, maybe they get good numbers because they know what plays in Peoria. They might have passed on a show like Undercovers if offered it, on the assumption that it doesn't play to their audience. I'm not surprised at the weak ratings - I always felt that that one was smugly overhyped. Spy shows can be hard for people to relate to compared with cop shows, there are too many of them, and having sexy leads just isn't enough.
