Maybe one thread about ratings is in order.

Ouch for "Scrubs", but it deserves it. My sister has had bit parts in this last season, playing a friend of one the characters (I don't know who, and I don't really care). At least two episode so far, the first one not having any speaking lines. And now it's getting canned (deservedly so), so ... so much for that gig.

26 million for Idol wow

Human Target repeated well, but how well would it do without Idol?

slightly off topic but does anyone know what the general ratings for The Cleveland Show are?

Actually that's a good Idea. Is it possible to have a ratings thread one per week, starting Sunday and ending Saturday. It's better than having a ratings thread every single day in this forum and might make things more organized. Just a thought.

disappointing ratings, overall, but I love Better Off Ted. Just an entertaining show. Fun characters, 'Well-meaning" giant evil corporation, etc. The fake Veridian Dynamics commercials are the best part. :)

Its just the way I have always did things I asked last year about it and most people wanted to have daily but I have made changes...

Fri/Sunday is one thread
Mon-Thurs single threads with no saturday threads

However sometimes FRI/SUN is skipped because its all repeats or sunday numbers are skewed so bad due to football.

I have been thinking about changing to the following...

Monday thread with sunday snapshot
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday/Friday joint thread

Think I will do that instead :techman:

I too dearly love Better Off Ted. Thank god it got renewed for a second season despite its terrible ratings; obviously it won't get a third. A great show while it lasted though!

Agreed, I only just discovered the show a couple of weeks ago - didn't pay attention when it began because I remember reading poor reviews. I love it though, bought the first season on DVD and can't wait to start watching Season 2. Praying for a miracle for season 3, but I know it's not likely sadly. :(

That's quite a fall off for Human Target - if it doesn't pull way up next week when there's an original episode, it's doomed. A show that follows a hit is expected to retain a large % of viewers.

...but it was a repeat. A lot of people who wanted to see it probably saw it on Sunday. Like 24, it's not a show with a ton of rewatch value.

For a repeat 48 hours after the pilot...Good good numbers, no trouble at all.

Glee premiered after the American Idol finale with 8ish million (can't quite remember) and it's getting a second season.
