No chance of a round-up cause I got to shoot off, have a nice Easter weekend all :techman:

My brother was watching some old Johnny Carson clips while he was home sick from work, and he passed along a Karnac the Magnificent gag that is still just as funny as it was back then...

"A thousand clowns."
"Who wrote NBC's fall schedule?"

Out of curiosity it'd be interesting to know which shows those were on the Fall schedule at the time.
The irony would be if some are considered 'classic' now.

It wasn't a good Friday for Fringe.

Fringe hits an all time low at 1.2 in the demo!
That's too bad since it was the first actually interesting episode in half a season. But I can see people bailing it takes a certain fortitude to stick with a series hoping for an uptick that is forever coming.

^ Expect Fringe to bounce back in the finals like last week by 0.1 in the demo.

-----------------------------------------------------

I would of liked to see FOX aired back to back Fringe episodes thus making next week the season finale. Also I would like to see CW move Smallville to a non friday night for the 2 hour finale.

I believe its time the networks begin to start season a little earlier in September and try having less breaks because the audience erosion is doing them no good. I would prefer to see the season end in early April and not early to mid may, also less repeats would probably help audiences keep track and interest of bubble shows...

Friday nights have even lower HUT levels so they need to air in March and contain less episodes 18-20 with less repeats. Airing friday night shows at the start of Easter weekend never mind April and May is no way to keep good ratings.

I know the CW can't get rid of most of its shows...but they need a complete overhaul. TVD, Nikita, SPN, ANTM & Hellcats are keepers for me...but GG, 90210 & OTH should go and we know Smallville is ending. I would anchor Monday with Hellcats add Hart of Dixie, Tuesday with Nikita add Cooper & Stone, Wednesday with ANTM add Danni Lowinksi, Thursday with TVD add The Secret Circle & Friday with SPN add Awakening. Just roll the dice on adding 5 of the six or so pilots they have. I know you won't agree with this Jax.

;) Yep...

I wouldn't anchor the night with Hellcats because its too weak for such a job even if it should return at all. Depending what pilots get picked up this is some sort of idea I would do with the CW lineup...

Cooper & Stone - 90120

Heavenly - Hellcats/Nikita

N/A - Gossip Girl

The Secret Circle - The Vampire Diares

Awakening - Supernatural

-----------------------------------------------

The reason for Hellcats/Nikita is because I feel at least one must go and OTH would also be cancelled on my lineup. Also I would make Gossip Girl its final season (only needs 13 to make 100) and last only till early Late Feb or Ea rlyMarch. Then I would bring back a shorten edition of American Next Top Model for its own FINAL season.

------------------------------------------------

Anyone see Bones introduce the spinoff show "The Finder" or "The Locator" will be the title of the show (the latter being the name of the books). I liked the characters and the episode itself with standout shout going to Green Mile stat "Michael Clarke Duncan" who played the laidback and funny "Leo Knox".

I will be watching it next season.

why is nbc fucked. other than the pual R. show every thing is a great line up.
does anyone know if vampire diaries will be picked up for a third season?

Are you kidding me?

Chase, Undercovers, The Paul Reiser Show, The Cape, The Event, Perfect Couples, and Outlaw were all garbage. Chuck is on life support. Law & Order: Los Angeles has had some serious retooling, Law & Order: SVU probably has one more year left in it, and The Office is about to lose it's biggest star. Nobody watches Community, Parks & Rec, Parenthood or Outsourced. NBC is crap.

okay you're way off base chuck is a great show and so is community. I am still loving the event and as far as:

undercovers
the cape
and perfect couples they should never have been cancelled them and as for the others don't watch them. But lately I've been watching shows on fx and bbca a&e and amc like the walking dead fucking great show. and the killing. my taste are slowly changing. But I still love scy fy candy like the event .

^
It is because the ratings for many NBC shows are low...much lower than they should be...and this is what matters to networks...ratings.

I can't speak for many of the NBC shows but The Cape was horrible, the pilot smacked of network interference and a half assed concept. The pilot was a 2 hour story squeezed into 1 hour and the ratings drop from the pilot was no shock to me, hell the 30 mins numbers of the first two 2 episodes made for grim reading...Critics and viewers hated it

As for Heavenly, thats off my list now  It just sounded so CW I expected them to air it :p

I thought the Bones spinoff was lame and in no way would work as a series without serious reworkings. The Brish woman needs to go.

Ah I liked her, I knew Americans would not like a proper cockney character though :p

She can't act and her accent was annoying. She was horrible on Boston Legal, she was bad on L&O:CI, and she is bad here.

I am not surprised her accent was annoying to some people but to me its just a querky british accent and I saw nothing in her acting that assumes she can't act. I do think the show will catch on with viewers next season though and it will probably find the similar older skewing Bones fanbase with some new additions.

Personally I would place it and Bones on Mondays 8-10pm.
