Quite alot to talk about so first heres some news on recent pickups for next season...

ABC have picked up Castle, Cougar Town, Grey’s Anatomy, The Middle, Modern Family and Private Practice

Also FOX has picked up Raising Hope for a 2nd season

DH pickup is being held back while contract talks are under away and Brothers & Sisters getting one more season is 50/50 and won't be announced till the May in all likelyhood.

Since Mondays had too many repeats I'll start with Sunday ratings minus the overrun numbers from FOX's NFL football which boosted The Simpsons and rookie Bob's Burger...

FOX

The Simpsons - 12.65 million & 5.7/14

Bob's Burgers (series debut) - 9.41 million & 4.5/11

Family Guy - 9.29 million & 4.7/11

The Cleveland Show - 7.36 million & 3.5/8

CBS

60 Minutes - 10.45 million & 1.6/4

CSI: Miami - 11.90 million & 2.5/6

Undercover Boss - 11.60 million & 3.0/7

Criminal Minds (repeat) - 7.09 million & 1.8/5

ABC

America’s Funniest Home Videos - 7.55 million & 1.8/5

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - 9.11 million & 2.6/6

Desperate Housewives - 12.69 million & 3.8/9

Brothers & Sisters - 8.38 million & 2.3/6

NBC

Dateline (2 hour) - 5.62 million & 1.1/3

The Cape (series debut) - 8.50 million & 2.6/6

The Cape - 8.28 million & 2.6/7

CABLE RATINGS
CALIFORNICATION delivered its best season premiere ever last night (4th season) with 848,000 viewers at 9 p.m. and 1.12 million total viewers for the night.

70% of the weekly viewing to CALIFORNICATION in Season 3 occurred after its Sunday airing – the average weekly number across replays, DVR and on-demand for the series was 2.8 million viewers

Expect that trend to follow for season 4 and I loved the return of the hit comedy drama, been a long 12 months without you Hank Moody :techman:

The series debut of SHAMELESS was SHOWTIME’s biggest drama series premiere in seven years with 982,000 total viewers at 10 p.m. and 1.3 million viewers for the night. (7 yrs ago: Dead Like Me with 1.11 million)

SHAMELESS bests other top SHOWTIME drama premieres including THE L Word (2004) – 936,000; The Tudors (2007) – 869,000 and Dexter (2006) – 603,000

EPISODES garnered 768,000 viewers and 902,000 viewers for the night

EPISODES retained 91% of its Californication audience, among the best for a SHOWTIME series (and on par with the summer retention between WEEDS and The Big C, also 91%)

Monday

-Adults 18-49:
ABC: 2.6 rating/6 share, CBS: 2.0/5, Fox: 1.6/4, NBC: 0.9/2, CW: 0.4/1

ABC

The Bachelor (2 hour) - 8.41 million & 2.8/7

Castle - 9.20 million & 2.1/5

CBS

How I Met Your Mother (repeat) - 7.41 million & 2.4/6

Rules of Engagement (repeat) - 6.71 million & 2.0/5

Two and a Half Men (repeat) - 10.18 million & 2.4/6

Mike & Molly (repeat) - 8.70 million & 2.0/5

Hawaii Five-0 (repeat) - 6.57 million & 1.5/4

FOX

Lie to Me - 5.50 million & 1.6/4

Lie to Me - 5.42 million & 1.5/4

NBC

Chuck (repeat) - 3.03 million & 0.8/2

The Cape (repeat) - 3.68 million & 1.0/2

The Cape (repeat) - 3.49 million & 1.0/3

CW

90120 (repeat) - 0.95 million & 0.4/1

Gossip Girl - 0.78 million & 0.4/1

I expect numbers for THE CAPE to flatline over the next few weeks after the horrible pilot + Chuck as a lead in won't help + CBS 9-10pm will horde the 18-49 demo.

I thought The Cape was pretty awful, too, but if next week is going to crash, I would have thought there'd be erosion over the two hours on Sunday. That's plenty of time to drive people away. I know it was personally a real effort not to grab the remote. :rommie:
