Nice to see Medium still doing so well. Dancing with the Stars is still proving itself to be a titan.

Yay! Castle went back up. I wonder if the ratings depend on what Stana Katic is wearing. :)

Medium is absolutely fine, it gets good money from reruns, and great numbers for a shit network.

Fox, stop showing Bones EVERY night, it's getting old.

Medium is what 5 years old now and shows tend to get more expensive as they progress especially in the salary department and with NBC giving Jay Leno the 10pm slots I have doubts over Mediums future. I don't think the show would suit a non 10pm slot but if NBC does keep it for midseason in 2010 they should consider Fridays 8pm to anchor that night for NBC and see if it can hurt fellow genre show Ghost Whisperer.

I agree with Bones though who while always keep a respectable viewer rate, the demo is suffering from being shifted so much and eventually the viewer count will drop too. One of the reasons for the current double week episodes is due to the large season order because of the writers strike last season and the missing episode from the year before that. Bones should stick to a Monday or Tuesday, House pairing in the Fall and then switch to Wednesdays in midseason if that 8pm slot stays as uncompetitive next year though Thursdays will be a good fall back too.

Heres some of the key shows from the lousy Friday/Sunday nights which might be of interest to some poor souls ;)...

FRIDAY

Prison Break - 3.38 million & 1.2/4

SUNDAY

Desperate Housewives - 13.65 million & 4.7/11

Brothers & Sisters - 9.63 million & 3.3/ 9

The 2009 DUMB BLONDES I MEAN Miss USA Pageant - 4.98 million & 1.4/4

Celebrity Apprentice - 8.32 million & 3.2/8

King of the Hill (series low) - 3.34 million & 1.6/5

The Simpsons - 6.50 million & 3.0/9

Sit Down, Shut Up (series debut) - 5.21 million & 2.3/6

Family Guy - 7.40 million & 3.8/9

American Dad - 5.76 million & 3.0/7

I can't believe FOX is airing new episodes of King of the Hill at 7:30pm. Who the hell is going to think it's on then? No wonder it got a series low! But since it's already finished production I guess they don't care anymore. Just like the last year of Futurama.

They will at least give Medium 13 episodes to end the show and not just cancel it.

Bones only has 28 or 30 episodes this year, Fox could have come up with a better plan than 4 episodes in a week. However it should be on Wednesday's the day it started on. However none of the episodes this season were the "missing" one, they showed that one last May because of the strike.

On Sundays, primetime starts at 7 instead of 8. I don't know why, that's just the way it is.

Chuck ended up with 2.5 if I read correctly. Chuck's been putting out the best episodes it's ever done, but they can't get any breaks. Now it's in danger of cancellation because people would rather watch Steve-O do the tango, Chuck Lorre's tremendous lack of talent and creativity, and the guy with the mullet from Lost Boys ripping some Arabs nuts off, for freedom. Oh, and The Asshole Doctor with The Heart of Gold. No, not the funny and entertaining one from Scrubs. The other one.

And now we have Leno not only refusing to go away, but taking a whole bunch of way more talented and creative people down in the process. Because apparently there's a very large segment of the American populace who still lap up Bill Clinton Likes Pussy Jokes - 9 YEARS after he's left office - like Jenna Jameson at a bukake convention. We call these people The American Middle Class. Gene Wilder in Blazing Saddles calls them morons. I call them my parents.

You know what, fuck it. I wish The British had won The Revolution. For no other reasons then that their TV doesn't suck and their kids can actually read.

I missed a Futurama post... hmmm...

To be far to Fox, they always treated Futurama like shit, since about the 6th episode.

'24' is not doing that well, and 'Heroes' has really sunk. I stopped watching weeks ago.

24 has been solid this season with a small viewer erosion and compare the ratings now to thedebut season there higher and how many shows can say that after 8 seasons since the norm is to drop viewers over time. 24 may not be a big as it once was but double digit viewers and a demo of around a 3.5 for this season is wonderul stuff especially since season 6 had 24 drop below 10 million and closer to 3.0 demo at times (and SEASON 7 HAS ROCKED)...

As for HEROES my countdown remains 18 episodes to go the Series Finale.

Also sory for no ratings yesterday, I was only at my PC once all day and that was in the morning so I will do that later in the same thread as Wednesday ratings.

I figure they'll do a 20 episode season next year and wrap things up. If they make good use of those episodes, I could see that being a decent run.

There will only be 18 episodes of Heroes next season. NBC doesn't have the money to waste on anymore episodes than that.
