Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles rose from last week I think

CBS had all repeats and they all did well for repeats

Boston Legal is doing well, and yet ABC did not give them a full season, makes no sense....at least it will get 101 episodes

That's at least a good sign

Repeats played a part in that for SCC & Chuck IMO but still a decent sign but more for Chuck, which is now past what I call the the 7 million safety zone for NBC shows.

But still amazing seeing as the repeats on CBS were still high ratings

TBBT, HIMYM & 2&HM get some of the strongest repeat ratings I have ever seen, especially compared to there usual stellar ratings for new eps.

I noticed, almost 14 million viewers for a repeat...damn

Even Worst Week's ratings are good

Winners...
Two and a Half Men (R), CSI: Miami (R), Shrek the Halls (R), Grinch Stole Christmas (R)

Worth Mentions...
TBBT (R), HIMYM, (R), Chuck, Heroes and Boston Legal

Decent But Down...
Gossip Girl

Losers...
Samantha Who, Sarah Conner, Prison Break, My Own Worst Enemy and Privileged

Round-Up...

Despite repeats, CBS was top dog in viewers and its truly amazing how well all there shows do in repeats though like usual Worst Week was behind the rest.

ABC did not struggle too much without DWTS, thanks to the annual Christmas themed shows but Samantha Who? did suffer and big time by posting Series Low ratings. Samantha Who? is clearly becoming a show that can only survive from a strong lead in, a dangerous thing indeed. Boston Legal had no worry by keeping above the normal 8 million levels and will end its run next week sadly after 5 years/101 episodes. BL's ratings have no warranted a 6th season but I still must say the show has warranted a full pickup but that door closed long ago, however I will say for my most favourite TV show of all time --- its ratings were fine until they brought it back after the strike ended for several weeks when it was moved to a new day (Tuesdays) with little to none promotion, so ABC you are the reason for the drop in ratings every year.

NBC had some minor good news with Chuck scoring a season high and returning to what I think is the safe zone for any NBC show though am surprised the show does not do better in the 18-49 demo. Heroes climbed for the 2nd week and is nearly back in the 8 million range but with even with DVR usage the show is way behind LIVE ratings on one year ago never mind one year ago DVR usage.

FOX's SCC was slighty up but lets not kid ourselves its going to fruday nights to die and to take Dollhosue with it. The only way for SCC to make it is to return to 7 million levels minimum, which on fridays would be great. Prison Break is due to return near the end of the season for its final episodes.

So did Heroes uptick or downtick?

Up a bit; the ratings are pretty steady, playing around the 7.5M-8M range. First in the demo, too, that's good. I think they've shed all the fussy viewers who insist on plot and character logic and have dug their way down to the bedrock of the Petrellicest crowd and other folks who just watch it for the purdy actors.

And yes, guilty as charged. :rommie:

Heroes stats for the season. Go to the last post in the thread. I'm sure this week's figures will be added soon.

BTW, Chuck's ratings are pretty stable, too. NBC isn't going to mess with a reasonably stable pairing like that.

Thanks for the info!

Crossing fingers that both stay the course--16 year old son and dad can still watch those two shows together for a while longer then.

Ironic that Heroes' ratings go up for what has got to be the worst episode they've done to date. But the episode itself isn't bad so much as its a cumulative effect of all the mistakes and nonsense of this season. I guess those 7.5-8M viewers just looooove the characters a whole lot because the show is giving them scant reason to stick around for reasons of quality. :rommie:

Heroes has nothing to fear. If it can't shake those viewers by throwing unmitigated nonsense onto our screens, then nothing can run us off!

Excited about the up tick for Chuck though last night's epiode was the worst of the series IMHO.
