TV Ratings (Friday 21st January)...Learn the fate of FRINGE

A little more news I thought I'd post about FRINGE...

A scheduling executive from FOX who posts on Twitter posted the following
Live+3 days DVR program ratings Fringe surged 42% in the demo, from a 1.9 Live+SD adults 18-49 rating to a 2.7 rating.

Ironically like the live 1.9 rating thats also up 0.1 from the 2.6, Fringe posted most of the time in the thursday slot. I don't have viewer increase but thats most likely around 6.5ish million if the old pattern follows though with the extra 0.1 from the fall its probably closer to 7 million so 6.7ish but I will check the DVR rankings when they come out.

Everything I hear is FOX execs are impressed with the friday debut.

I could see a drop to 1.7 or 1.8 but not lower and CSI week after shouldn't take any of the young demo away. I could see CW moving Supernatural to 8pm next season so FOX should keep that in mind as well.

I'd do almost anything for a 4th season of Fringe. C'mon Fox...for once don't let me down! We Fringies may be small in numbers but we are devoted!

Tomorrow night's Supernatural has been pushed back to Feb. 4 so Fringe won't air against it again. It airs against a repeat of Nikita tomorrow.

Cable ratings news for the 21st Jan: Merlin (Syfy) went up to 1.557 million viewers with the third episode of its third season. It's increased in viewers with each episode so far this season.
