Welcome to the all new TV & Media Avatar Contest!
First of all apologies for the earlier contest.
The new theme is.. Affirmative Action
Affirmative action is a way to ensure that diversity is obtained and maintained in schools and in the workplace. In so doing it also helps create tolerant communities because it exposes people to a variety of cultures and ideas that are different from their own.
In 1964 the U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act which prohibited racial discrimination in firms with over 25 employees. Consequently American TV programmes began to employ a more diverse range of actors. This contest should celebrate positive examples of diversity on the telly.
