... but maybe not the kind you are thinking of. Yes, it was partially inspired by Halloween, but also by the recent controversy surrounding the new Netflix show about Jeffrey Dahmer.
So our theme this week is about movies/shows/etc which depict, feature or are about monsters: the very worst examples of humanity on offer. The production can involve an entirely fictional monster, or it can be a dramatized production based on a real-life monster. (No straight-up documentaries, please.) If you're not comfortable depicting the monster themselves, that's fine! I sympathize! The entry just has to be from a production with a monster; it doesn't have to feature the monster in question.
As an example, my first entry depicts Jake Gyllenhaal as Robert Graysmith in Zodiac, a film which dramatizes the hunt for the Zodiac Killer:
Zodiac
Standard avatar rules apply: your entries must be a maximum of 200 x 200 pixels and 1 MB. All entries must be SFW! No SF&F this time out. Each entrant may enter up to three avatars. Please identify which movie/show/etc your entry is from. The contest will be open for about a week.
"Have fun" sounds a little weird for this topic, so... have at it?
And I hope this wasn't a mistake.
