I'm sure you're all familiar with the tropes: the smart member of the team, the mad genius, the master inventor, the person with the encyclopedic knowledge of, well... everything. Our topic this week will be Smart Characters in television, movies, comics and video games.
Standard avatar contest rules apply: images should be no larger than 200 x 200 pixels and 1 MB, and must be SFW. Each entrant may enter up to three avatars. Please identify the character(s) in your entry, and what movie/show/etc they are from. The contest will be open for about a week.
SF&F will be allowed for this contest, with the following two exceptions:

- No Star Trek entries. Yes, I realize this is slightly arbitrary, but I figure the first person who manages to enter a Spock avatar has a good chance of winning, so I want to make it a little more challenging.
