Still, I figure if there are other Tuvix sympathizers here, they might also enjoy a scenario where either he goes free, or his killer faces justice...

ASIDE: The first 3 lines at the top are real lines from the episode. Can you believe Chakotay had the audacity to say that he counted Tuvix as one of his friends after what we saw on the bridge near the end of the episode? Unbelievable...Chakotay, you're trash dude. Lol.

Nah, just under the influence of Cult Mistress Janeway. If she'd given him a knife and told him to spit-roast a random crew member... well, meat would have been back on the menu.

One thing I always hated was that it never comes up again. Tuvix remembered everything that Tuvok and Neelix did: presumably that was true of them once separated. What was being Tuvix like for them? How did each of them feel about Janeway's decision? Kes'? The Doctor's? They literally go right back to their "long suffering straight man and comic relief foil" relationship.

Yup. Totally swept under the rug by the showrunners. Probably didn't want to remind viewers how unheroic their heroes were this episode. But I never forgot, what they did to Tuvix stayed with me the entire series.

Yes, Tuvix had all their memories, stands to reason Neelix and Tuvok would then have Tuvix's, and thus Neelix would remember Tuvok's life and Tuvok would remember Neelix's. They should have been like kindred spirits after this incident.

Right after they were re-materialized at the end, their reactions weren't ones of confusion. It seemed to me they knew what had just happened, and seemed to be grateful/relieved to be back, but there was also an element of sadness. In other words, I'd say they remembered being Tuvix right up to his last moments. But then the show just abandoned it all just like they did for many if not most of their adventure-of-the-week storylines.

AKA lazy writing (not sure that's entirely the right term). They wanted to tell a one-off story, but not face the consequences of that story. So they simply ignored them.

I have similar problems with the Omega Directive. They just wanted to tell a one-off story, but that pesky PD was in the way. Simple solution: just invent an even primer-than-prime directive. Oh, and let's also make it top secret to explain why nobody ever heard from it before, or will ever again hear of it, afterwards.

Well, Janeway's "cult leader" hold over the crew was enough that they stood by without objection as she dragged Tuvix off to his de facto execution. It would be a simple matter for her to declare afterward (a la Tasha Yar) that "it never happened".

Sloppy, lazy, indifferent... one of those things. Same thing as not spending 20 seconds technobabbling out why they now had more than 38 photons, or inventing a rational explanation for how Ocampa women could have multiple offspring. They thought we were too dumb to care.

Riddles. Tuvok's personality is erased. The New Tuvok after a month is told that the Doctor invented a new Type of surgery to bring back the old Tuvok and murder the new Tuvok.new Tuvok says Hard $ucking pass. Neelix talks new Tuvok around into committing suicide without ever once mentioning Tuvix.

Mortal Coil. Riddled with nano probes, a recently resurrected Neelix gets sad that he didn't go to Talaxan heaven after he died, and that death is an endless black void of misery. Surely he already had something close to this existential crisis after and during when he was Tuvix?
