It would be good if it could stay ahead of Terminator the rest of the week, it may help keep more theaters for next week.

What with the IMAXes opening up again, maybe that'll be enough to keep it ahead of Terminator...

Looks like the film's making enough at the theaters to keep the count from eroding too much... :)

My Mum, who likes everything and everyone and finds redeeming qualities in the worst films hated Terminator. This made me decide not to watch it, although I had intended to upon seeing the trailer for the first time. Word of mouth can do a lot of damage.... or good in Trek's case.

The last couple of weeks Trek has maintained it's Monday numbers throughout the week, which I think is great. I'm still feeling $250M coming....

In the DC area?

According to the NASM website, the Airbus Imax Theatre at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA (the "Dulles branch" of the National Air and Space Museum) is showing Star Trek in Imax at 6:00 and 8:30 PM between June 12 and 21.

oh, yeah, I knew that. I'm hoping that one of the AMCs in central NJ has an IMAX showing this weekend. I'm going to visit my folks and I think my dad's definitely up for it. :D
