TSCC: Thoughts on the Ratings Decline

As I said in the thread on the cancellation: don't trust Ausiello when it comes to Terminator. He confirmed its cancellation the day after Season 1 ended and it got a Season 2. Wait until the producers confirm it or Fox.

Please Note: I am not saying that it isn't cancelled, just wait until you hear it from someone who doesn't get paid based upon the clicks of his website.

This might come as a shock, but I don't keep track of all your posts or read every thread about T:SCC.

The producers and writers agreed with you. Each of those were ordered by Fox for them to continue to air the series.

- Kacy Cotton (Pregnant woman): Was designed to keep Sarah Connor grounded in reality.

- Riley: Ordered by Fox to provide John a relationship. She was intended to be just a normal run of the mill girl but the fans hated her. That led to the revamped storyline where she was a time traveler sent back in time to drive a wedge between John and Cameron.

The Riley revamp was quite an ingenious save by the writers. Do you know if these are the only two story line additions/changes that were ordered by FOX?

Well, if you want to post news regarding a show, you should probably keep up with what's been said in other threads about it.

Certainly not a necessity, but it makes everything a little more cohesive.

I don't mean to imply that you should (if you read all of my posts technically that could be considered cyberstalking), but there is a thread on the termination of Sarah Connor - pun intended - on the board. Note: I didn't make the thread either.

Or, you could just choose to listen to or reject the information provided in the spirit it was given (trying to be helpful) without expecting someone to have read every piece of information on the show across several threads. It was an article from yesterday, and I saw no other threads obviously dealing with the ratings or cancellation, so it's unreasonable to expect that I should know this was being discussed elsewhere.

I could understand the reaction if I had come in and said "OMG, Terminator Canceled, WTF!!!?" and stated that this was a definitive piece of information, but I made it quite clear that it was speculation and that I was hoping it wasn't true.

No worries.

Just saying...

Certainly not a necessity, but it makes everything a little more cohesive.
