From Zap2It -

The Authority heads in a new direction; Sookie and Jason visit the site of their parents' deaths.

Only two plot threads tonight? Could be fun, we'll see.

Jesus Christ, I thought I'd choke to death on my coffee when Sam was holding himself in his arms on the couch, calling Luna the handsomest devil he knew. :guffaw:

I still think Morlo is Russell Edgington. Something about that vampire's chin looked familiar before it took out Sookie's mother. Also, Bill visiting his 50 year old daughter in 1910 and having her beg him to turn her because she could feel herself "rotting away"......ouch. :( Devastating. Cancer before there was any chemotherapy was like that.

I continue to find it remarkable how much stronger, more charismatic, and how much more presence Bill and Eric have when they're out of Sookie's orbit and are allowed to act like men again.

That was much less idiotic than the previous episode.

Mark my words, Freddie Krueger is haunting Sookie.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Hoyt's mom will turn out to be the leader of the hate group.

Authority storyline is turning from something interesting about vampire politics and religion to the usual over-the-top insanity (like Meanad's story, for example). Too bad, this story was promising in the beginning ...

It wouldn't be True Blood if they didn't have some trouble following through on certain storylines. I'd have liked to have seen more of Bill's last visit with his daugther Sarah in 1910 and how it came to be. That was unbearably tragic and deserved more attention.

However, it can't get it because TB has TOO. MANY. CHARACTERS.

Yeah, I've got a feeling that Hoyt's Mom is behind the hate group. Maybe she's "the dragon" and not the old sheriff.

I'm hoping that Bill's idea to bomb the True Blood factories is part of a greater ploy to undo what Salome is trying to do - eg. provide five easy targets and inside info on what's going to happen to the Mainstreamers then beat Salome at her own game.

Russell has his own agenda. Yeah, they were all high as fuck, and I think Godric came from the "upward" vampire afterlife to speak to Eric while Lilith came from "down below." Maybe there's a vampire afterlife out there after all; if so that may be how they will tie together Lafayette's storyline in with the others since he's a medium. Maybe he'll wind up being able to channel the appropriate entities in order to resolve them. I'm gonna guess, since these stories' trajectories all seem to be running in parallel fashions that Terry and his CO's trajectory is eventually going to have to be played out in each of the others where there's conflict going on , the resolutions will come when one group does the other in. Hopefully, that will ultimately result in some characters leaving.

"My mad face and my happy face are the same.":guffaw:
Rated it above average just for that! Also, yes, Sam and Sam was great. Trammell's walk for Luna-Sam was True Blood at its best: Exaggerated but just right enough to be funny instead of just stupid. Also yes, even Skarsgard has some gravitas without Sookie around. But the only good excuse for the storyline is Rev. Steve. Russell hitting on him was serious funny.

The Afrit storyline is actually pretty good in a normal drama sense. Doesn't blend well with the rest of the show naturally.

Another decent episode. Poor Jason had next-to-nothing to do, and kept his clothes on the whole time.

Fortunately, Sam didn't. About time he got his ass out again. And this is, what, the third character he's played now? (Sam, brother-as-Sam, girlfriend-as-Sam) were there any others?

Speaking of, Sam holding himself, that's going to spark so much awful fanfic, you just know it is.

Lala charging money. He hasn't really changed that much, has he?

Nice to see Jesus again, briefly. See, I don't mind having several characters if they spread them around, and they don't appear for several episodes (or even a full season). Having them appear in every single episode (Tara) gets old and, unfortunately, highlights just how limited their acting range really is (Tara).

Steve and Russell flirting was just so darned cute. I could totally buy a spin-off series featuring just those two out there creating havoc.

Curiously, "Warlo" or anything even remotely close, did not appear in the end credits. So, is he Russell?

I think 'Warlo' is Eric.. It is they type of shock i could see the producers doing. Russell or any other bad vampire would be to obvious.

If the Dragon was Hoyt's mom, wouldn't Sam recognize her smell?

No becuse (if it's her) she is not going out with the gang, she is directing from her home. So how would Sam get the sent of her at the crimes scenes.

I thought the reason everyone was saying it's her was Sam and Luna saying they smelled a large woman with a bad diet.

That was weird. If Morlo appeared to Sookie in a vision, he can't be just a regular vampire. Also, since whatsername addressed him as if she knew him and Sookie was able to adopt his point of view, I'm thinking he must be some kind of Vampire-Fairy hybrid.

And I wonder if they're grooming Eric to be the new Godric. That would be cool.

Just took a look at the Comic Con trailer [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7X7zU2NcEw&feature=youtu.be[/yt]. Toward the end there's a vampire that says something (a little garbled) to Pam and smacks her down pretty hard. I think that may be this "Warlo/Marlo" vampire. Maybe somebody else can take a look at give their opinion. The chins look about right.

God, I hate the yt link. Try this.
