True Blood 3x09 - Everything is Broken

OmahaStar

Disrespectful of his betters
Admiral
What fun. I'm moving, and have limited net availability (only from work for the next week ... yikes!), so ... sorry this is up late.

From Zap2It -
Eric is confronted about the Magister's disappearance; Russell vows revenge against his foes; Bill uncovers the truth about Sookie's identity; Sam is distressed by Tommy's attitude; Tara encounters a new ally; Hoyt confronts his true feelings.

Ok, the poll didn't attach this time, so ... I gave it 5 stars. Nan was, once again, dangerous. Bill got to Faery, Tommy get nekked, PsychoStalker got killed - again - Jason's the hero, Hoyt and Jessica look like they might be getting back together again, Russell went on the warpath, Tara and LaLa actually had a *moment* something they've never had before (more on that later), Jesus is adorable, LaLa's mommy was a little less crazy, Pam actually cares about Eric, and Eric spilled the beans on everything.

This was certainly packed full of jam!

About LaLa and Tara ... They are always bitchy, at each other's throats. You know they care about each other, but the way they treat each other normally it's so ... cruel. They dropped all of that here and had a loving family moment. That may have been the most shocking thing in the whole episode.

Best episode of the season.. Russel's performance at the end, to say the least, was unexpected and quite friggin' awesome.. Can't believe there's only 3 shows left.. Seemed to fly by.. :(

Awesome episode, it was packed.
Agreed on the Tara/Lafayate scene!
Franklin was wasted. To bring him back for about 30 seconds, just to kill him off again... as much as I like the character, he should have stayed dead, that way Tara would have been the one to defend herself/take revenge instead of having to be saved by Jason...
I still don't care about the Crystal storyline.
Russel was brilliant, as always...

Only three more. :(

Oh my god that ending.

"Does this help you to deciiiiiide, America?"

Excellent episode. My two favorite moments were probably the reveal with Russel talking to Talbot's remains in the jar, and then that final scene.

"...and now, the weather. Tiffany?" :guffaw:

I actually screamed at my TV when Russell killed the news anchor! The look on Nan's face!

Five fangs from me, too.

Russell's got style, I'll give him that...I could just see the President watching Russell's statement and reaching for the phone to call the Joint Chiefs...

"We will eat your children!" nice lol

..oh and the "I know what Sookie is" then cut to the next scene is really getting tired and pathetic.

Tom, off topic, but a question about that hollywood expo in your sig line. Are you connected with that convention? If so, you might want to give them a heads up about their guest page. Every section has an "also featuring" list with guests "in alphabetical order" ... and whoever alphabetized those names might want to revisit the alphabet. :guffaw:

Yes, I am the Asst. Coordinator and the Webmaster. I wanted the names sorted by first name, not last name. I changed it to say "(Listed In First Name Alphabetical Order)". If you notice anything else, let me know, I am open to criticism about my websites.

Great episode with an absolutely fantastic ending. Seriously, that's probably the funniest thing Ive seen all year.

Poor Tiffany :guffaw:

Poor Tiffany? what about the news ancor dude that got his spine ripped out. Tiffany is probably a fang-banger anyways! LOL

At least he didnt know what hit him. Tiffany had to sit through his humanity ending manifesto :P

Depending on how anal you want to get about the Trek stars, Arne Starr, Pat Tallman, and Kevin Rector could all be added to that list.

You could also have a Babylon 5 section, since you've got Pat Tallman, Stephen Furst, Walter Koenig, Gary Graham, Erick Avari, Marc Scott Zicree, and June Lockhart all there as guests.

BTW, having both Babylon 5's "Bester" (Koenig) and Doctor Who's "The Master" at the same con is a stroke of genius. :bolian:

True, we try to list them for what there best know for, like Pat Tallman is best know for Babylon 5 vs. here guest stints on Star Trek. More people probably know Eric Roberts for his role in Heroes and more recently Marconi in The Dark Knight.

We just got Stan Lee! I will be adding him on the site tommorrow.

Now, back to your regularly threaded True Blood talk...

Oh god, that last bit of the episode was awesome.

Is it wrong of me to sort of like Russell? He's such an accomplished villain.

The last bit was among the best and the craziest things this show had ever done.

Russell is great!

Damn, I absolutely love this show.

I would say season 3 is much better than season 2 so far. The who maryanne thing last season was a bit much.
