Full title - "I Got a Right to Sing the Blues"

Summary -

Bill's fate lies in Lorena's hands; Tara tries to stave off Franklin's advances; Tommy finds it difficult to leave his family; Jessica puts Pam's teachings into practice; Jason and Crystal's romance hits a snag; Russell visits Louisiana.

I know, it's late this week. I just got home from a really bad weekend at a convention, and won't be able to see it until maybe tomorrow. But the poll's up!

Wow. Just wow. What a gory, violent episode!

Franklin Mott :wtf: Can a Vamp heal after THAT? And poor tortured Bill :(

I'm hoping Sookie stakes Lorena

That was... bloody.
I doubt Franklin can heal after that, wich is a shame, I'm gonna miss his crazy!

I think he can heal. If Bill can heal from being in a slow broil in the sun for half an hour, why couldn't Franklin heal? Lorena really needs to go away.

Tara should have just decapitated or staked him.
I can understand it, though. In less than two months, she's had a fake exorcism, been in a relationship with a shifter, she's been under the influence of a supernatural being and found her lover's corpse in the parking lot of her job - killed, unknown by her, by her best friend's brother, kidnapped, raped by a vampire, and dealt with an insane vamp.

What would would be in her right mind after all of that?

Poor Jason. He's finally fallen for a girl, and she's a ho. That's not all she is, though. I wonder if that little football dude Jason's been lusting after is part of Crystal's ... um ... "town?"

Tara was very lucky Franklin's blood didn't have any negative side effects. We've already seen what happens when it goes wrong.

LaFayette and Jesus - Awwww :) and Awwww :(

What is Erik's game?

It's been far too long since we've seen Alcide. It's about time we got more skin from him. I mean, saw him.

so I guess Jesus is a santero?

I hope when Franklin comes after Tara he hasnt completley healed & his head's stiil a bit caved in, lol(yuck).

if Franklin didn't turn to mush, he lived. She didn't stake him, behead him or leave him out in the sun. He must have lived. Damn, when Eric finally turns on the king to avenge his parents, it's gonna be deadly as all hell. He's obviously playing the king because he took his father's crown after having the weres kill him.

Seeing a flashback of Lorena as a human would be a trip.

I guess you are right about Franklin, no mush, no dead vamp. Still I think, something like that should be deadly, it's almost like decapitation, only...messier. Glad to see him again though.

I think Eric is using Talbot to get revenge somehow, his constant flirting with both him and the king and he specifically asked Talbot how old he was, turns out, 300 years younger than Eric, so...

Tara was very lucky Franklin's blood didn't have any negative side effects. We've already seen what happens when it goes wrong.

I was wondering why. So far everyone was affected by vampire blood, but Tara wasn't. So, is it because of her? Maybe she is immune or something like that. Or is it because of Franklin? Maybe his blood isn't any good?

There's some specific percentage for whom the blood doesn't have any negative effects. Sookie is one, it enhances her telepathy and healing. But she's "special." ... It MAY have worked for Tara because of her recent run-in with Mary Ann, which hasn't quite worn off yet. Or she may be in that lucky few percentage points where it doesn't have any negative effect.

The remaining possibility is that she only had a few drops and spit the rest out, so there wasn't enough to do any damage.

In that case it sounds more reasonable that there is a small percentage that isn't affected by vampire blood. Sookie, on the other hand, was. Her libido was more active when she drank Bill's blood and she had some 'interesting' dreams about Eric, even though she had spit most of his blood out.
The Mary-Ann theory is interesting...

After going off the rails towards the end of season 2 and a few middling weeks early in season 3, True Blood has really returned to form recently. Hopefully it can keep it up.

It's great to see Queen Sophie back too!
